How to get the lady friend to vape

Whats up guys. So I'm relatively new here. I mainly dwell on the SSV thread but I've been able to look around the whole forum. I've seen a few posts where some guys (and women) mention their significant other vaping with them. I am currently in a relationship with this great girl I met here at school. She loves to party, drink, have fun, etc... but i've been with her for a little more than a year now and she still won't try MJ at all! She has told me that she isn't against smoking, or vaping, but she just seems scared to experience it for the first time. SHe says she wants to be in the "mood" first. But she's always busy or is never in the mood while we are hanging out.

Let me just say, it's not critical to our relationship that she takes up vaping. I will still care about her and enjoy being with her just as much regardless of what she chooses to do. But I am very much into vaping (as we all are) and I would like to be able to talk to her about it and experience it with her. I feel bad everytime I go vape/ smoke with the guys and I either have to leave her or she just sits there and watches us. She says she doesn't care, but she's like best friend to me too, and we should all want to vape with our best friends

I was just curious if anyone here is in a similar situation, or has been through something similar. Again I don't need her to love pot for us to be together, but shes expresssd interest in it, but never seems to want to take "the leap". Any suggestions on how I can get her in "the mood" to want to try it? Any ideas on how to make her first vape experience worth her while?

You definitely would want a vaporizer where your draw-speed isn't critical to how well it works. Definitely not lighter-powered, unless it retains heat like the vapocane or supreme.

Another tip is if you let them get the very first rip on a vaporizer with really good flavor, that can be a gamechanger right there.

I agree with SD, that along with the set and setting are very important, like being relaxed, eased into it from doing something else that she likes, play some music she will like, etc etc

Its both entertaining to watch and has great solid info presented by very well-qualified individuals.

When I used to have non-smoking friends over at stoner parties they always complained about getting high from second hand smoke. Now I don't know if this works the same with vapor, but doesn't she ever get at least a little bit high when she hangs out with you?

I use to have a girlfriend that refused to smoke btw. She did like getting high though, but only wanted to inhale directly from my lungs for some reason. I may have seduced her in to it the first time, but it got a little annoying at some point when I got to enjoy my exhales on my own less and less. This could be a warning, lol.

My girlfriend isn't interested in cannabis and was anti cannabis until she saw how much it helped me. I'd love to vape with her, but some people just don't want to and you have to let it fly if they just don't like the idea. It is not for everyone. I accepted that alcohol simply makes me sick at even 1/3 of a beer amounts. She doesn't try to force me to drink and I respect her decision to not vape.

Always be willing to offer/educate, never try to convince is my new motto.

I am in a similar situation with you scooter. I have been with my girl for about 8 months but she wont try vaping/never has smoked in her life. She was actually weird about it when I first vaped in front of her, but I have shown her that it has been good for overall stress relief and other common things and I think it slowly breaks her down to try it eventually. She still wont try it though, like you said scooter it isn't a game breaker, but to vape with your best friend would be nice.... maybe someday I hope.

There is no way to make someone do anything, but I feel if she is already consuming drugs that can kill you then why not try a little bit of pot? Vaping makes pot so much safer than smoking, and so much more enjoyable. I would just try and be patient and hope for the best, but don't be ashamed or hide your harmless hobby.

i found those 2 in under a minute, im sure there are sites i missed but thats just one of many beneficial reasons to use cannabis.

I will tell you why she feels uncomfortable, same reason my wife does, its called mind control. The government has done such a great job with DARE and the war on drugs that people hate MJ and don't even know why. Its irrational and logically unjustified which is why they have to have all the little programs reinforcing behavior and perpetuating the lies. An article published in Lancet about a year ago plainly shows that Alcohol is the #1 cause of harm to self and others in society. More than even Heroin or Crack. The graphics in this study alone are priceless.

agree, and be open as much as you want her to be.

i went through this myself and i was careful to handle the first sesh proper...just the two of us, zero concerns for at least 5-6 hours, no phone, tv, etc...just a pipe (was smoking at the time) and herb. had her watch (with me) many documentaries explaining the effects (im sure most are familiar with them) and we talked quite a bit about it, i explained beforehand and identified during why things feel the way they do and all that, be the sitter who speaks rarely, even when spoken to... we did a lot of potent herb that first night and it was nothing short of a full blown religious experience, we are agnostic.

id only advise to not be pushy about it in any way, when it hits her its best that she can reflect back on the fact that it was her decision and the knowledge (that you will provide) that its safe and her elevated experiences are had by many.

Exactly, shes told me that the only reason she started drinking was b/c all of her friends on. her study abroad trip were doing it. So I figured she might try mj cuz well... I'm doing it almost everyday haha. Last night, I showed her that pot u mentary (thx sd) and she seemed like she wanted try it finally. Finals are over, were here aft my house with all the time in the world, she felt like vaping. I was so excited, and started setting up my surfer. but fate wouldn't have it.... My heatr cover broke! It had shattered, and I'm still not sure why. So I had to order a new one and shes going to costa rica next week. Just my damn luck.

Just in case anyone cares, my girl and i hit the vaporizer last night. Haha, She came back from her vacation, and was real anxious to vape. So given all the tips, advice, input etc.. I made it so it was just the two of us in my room, Played a little dispatch for her, loaded the wand, and fired up the surfer. She liked it alot! She had a little cough so I hooked up the ssv to my 17" waterpipe with some ice in it. She got 2 nice sized hits, not too big, not too small, but it was enough to get her high. At the end of all of it she asked me if it would b bad if she were to vape for the next 3 days straight. HAHA, looks like shes down to do it again.

I care and I bet others here do too. Congratulations, and I think you did it right. I've busted a few pot cherries and what you described is much like what I've always tried to do. My success rate with that approach is 100%.
