How safe is my Tubo Evic to use with Samsung 30q batteries?

Do you use 18650 batteries in your vaping setup? How do you feel about them?

I admittedly am a chemistry noob and noob about understanding how batteries like these Samsung 30q 18650s work honestly.

I have an XTAR VC2 charger and my Samsung 30q batteries are rated at 3000mAh, but they only charge up to just over 1800mAh it seems. Is there something wrong with my new battery? Did I discharge it/recharge it improperly? Can someone explain to me how to use 18650s safely with my (fucking awesome) Tubo Evic?

Thank you all! Fuck combustion!

I have the Opus BT-C3400 charger and use a pair of 30Q batteries with no issue in the VTC Dual I use with my Tubo X.

I only got that vape recently so I won't pretend to be knowledgeable about 18650s or even the Tubo. The 30Q is one of the preferred batteries listed for it though.

I'll add my own question: is it customary to leave 18650s in the box mod when not in use? I don't mean like in a hot car or anything, just at home.

Edit: the 30Q works great with my Lil Bud as well.
