How golden should my ISO be?

I have what used to be a ketchup bottle full of 91% iso that I use to clean my whips/mz stems, and this is the first time I've kept it to harvest the residuals. I know it's supposed to be golden-brown, but mine got kinda golden after only a few washings and it's slowly getting darker, so I'm wondering how long should I wait?

Also, I know green dragon loses it's potency if you keep it in a clear container in the light, is this also true for the contents of the iso?

THC decomposes in light, so yes, it is best to keep it in a dark place.

I would say it needs to be fairly darkish brown to be worthwhile and get enough stuff out. I have only done it once so far and evaporated mine when it was more golden brown, i'm waiting till it's darker this time.

Using 91% iso is fine (i'm using 99.9%), but you will probably end up after the iso has evaporated with a slightly more runny oil, as it has 9% water in it. (Ive been told its water, i've never double checked though).

So when the alcohol has gone, you might be able to evaporate a little of the water away to make it easier to handle.
