Hey guys I need a new vape and was looking for some suggestions. I am thinking about getting the new arizer solo. Some factors in my decision: doesnt have to be portable but would be preferred, has to be able to get me very high and work well with small groups of people(mflb couldnt do this for me), price isnt a huge factor but i want something thats worth the money. That's about all I can think of, if someone could compare it to other vapes like SSV or PD. Also was considering VXC but didn't really think it would be worth spending 450 and also wasnt sure if it would really suit my need.

The Solo sounds like it might be a good fit for you. It gets you very high, and works well with small groups. It's usually a "wow" moment for someone seeing it for the first time, so that's a bonus. And it's portable. It's not the cleanest tasting vaporizer on the market, but that fact is generally outweighed by the unit's positive attributes.

Oh you'll be incredibly pleased with a Solo, it's my go to unit on the move and often when I'm at home sitting around with friends. It will get you very high and does so with extreme efficiency. I can generally get by for a long while off of a small pack. Enjoy it dude!

It may be the vaporizer you're looking for, but for an introductory vaporizer, I'd choose a different one. There are different types of vapor, and it varies between machines and how well they extract the herbal essence. To give you the best idea of vaporizing, and for the best chances of making a convert to pure vaping, a heavier hitting vaporizer like the DBV/LSV/SSV would be your best bet. I would honestly just go with the DBV because of price, being they all seem to hit equally hard.
To me, the Solo vapor is not satisfying enough for my tolerance. Maybe for a newer vaporist it would be amazing, as the MFLB once was in my first months or vaporizing.

To use the MFLB and the Solo in the same simile is a tad unfair. The Solo's vapor production has routinely been talked about by many users as comparable to 7th Floor products. Now while there may be debate about such claims, you will never hear anyone compare the MFLB's vapor production to a 7th Floor product.Mathair Naduir said:

I have to disagree here. My first vape was a SSV but I found the way the Solo extracted the goodies much more satisfying & got rid of the SSV shortly after. It's much easier to extract the higher temp goodies with the Solo without risking combustion like you do at that point with an SSV. Other than that it hits just as hard & it is much simpler to to use overall, perfect for a novice.
I wouldn't recommend a Solo because of the problems there are with it right now, but as long as one is aware of the risks it's up to the buyer to take them.

I agre, DBV takes some time to get used to u burn couple bowls tryin to perfect your technique.

It can take some time, and you can burn a bowl, but it's certainly preventable. All you have to understand is that you need to find the vapor range- low and high points. I used the SSV first, since the DBV was yet to come out, and it's definitely easier to overcook with the Surfer. Yet all I did was burn a small portion of the bowl, in order to find the high end of the range on my unit. I think ruining multiple bowls comes into play when you're determined to use a high temp. At that point draw speed becomes a crucial factor.
