Has anyone tried stuff with copper wire aside from wrapping vapcaps?

Yeah, I have a convection torch vape (not a Brick, a Los Brochos TEDi) and am wondering if I could wrap the intake in copper, torch that and generate more uniform and indirect heat for a better extraction on these convection vapes.

Thoughts?

I thought I saw @gra.4083 put some copper on a glass vapcap on Instagram. And I believe folks have done that with the vaponic over in that thread. Anyway seems worth trying. Let us know how it goes!

I've done it with my vaponic, don't recommend using copper wire though... It can dilate, slide down the glass and burn you, real quick. Learned this the hard way yesterday. Any sudden shift in positioning IE: placing it on a bong, can make that ring real hazardous in an instant.

Not exactly what I had in mind @howie105 but I guess that's a use for it.

What I'm talking about is changing the nature of how we use butane convection into something that might initially seem counter-intuitive
