I wanted to introduce these for some time but had some finger injury that was keeping me from making long/detailed posts and after that i got over it, totally forgot about .. So appolgize to Marko and the Graveda guys for the delay. I shot them some questions and they replied quickly.
Their products are Designed in Germany and produced in China but they have their own QC . Their target is keeping prices at minimum with no sacrifice in quality so i was told this was the best way they could achieve it. Also everyting is in stockin GERMANY and shipped via DHL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I will start with their cheapest press (there are videos of operation in the links).

I like their name Kolophonium press. It smells nice.
Just Kolophonium (original true Rosin lol) is pretty cheap in the eu. I recently ordered 25g for a couple of euros. I thought to play with it but did not get around yet.

is even cheaper. Rosin in pieces lol.

Those graved products look really nice for a very decent price. I hope to see reports soon.
Great find.

Edit: I wonder about their version of the puff peak: https://shop.graveda.de/e-nails/64/...porizer-verdampfer-fuer-extrakte-portable-rig

This is purely a speculation but i posted also in ask FC those are sold as SOC e-rig at a lot of places. I think either the chinese are knocking it off or the puffco relationship to this products is as the one of HR to Weecke :).
http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/rebrand-of-which-e-rig-is-this.47391/ You pretty much answered my question though,So it is a peak clone/rebrand :).
I also have some Colophonium but i just adore it,rarely do any soldering :D..

You are welcome.
But honestly I have no idea, its look just reminds me of the peak.

There are lots of different vapes that are similar to a Peak but to say they are clones is a stretch, like calling an Arizer Extreme Q is a Volcano clone because it uses balloons.:2c:

Some of those presses look great, I would not bother with the 600 and 700kg models as they would struggle with such a low pressure(my prepress pucks have been higher)

Time for a bump, and some real world pics and opinions.

I've had my 7 ton graspresso for a little over a week. I had originally decided to go for a dabpress since they are so well respected here but they haven't been making 220v versions for the last year and I got bored of waiting! Graspresso to the rescue!

The press took 12 days to arrive from Germany to the UK and I had to pay ~£80 in duty and fees. It arrived very well packaged in styrofoam and a thick cardboard box. It took a couple of days to get shipped, a few in customs, and a few more whilst I waited for the fees invoice which annoyingly had to be sent by snail mail!

The unit seems to be very well built on the surface. The carcass looks like it's made from 5mm powder coated steel. It's looks like it's made from sheet metal, cut, formed, and welded, although I can't find the welds under the powder coating.

I did notice one thing very quickly that I wasn't really happy with. The PID sits a little loose in its hole. Here are a couple of pics that demonstrates the issue. I think this will be quite easily fixed, expect a post in the future addressing this.

graspresso7_7-01.jpeg

graspresso7_8-01.jpeg

I was a little concerned that the temperature control wouldn't be very accurate. I had heard that the temp probes are surface mounted rather than deep inside the plates themselves. I have found that on initial heat up it overshoots by 3 to 5 degrees c. Given 10 to 20 mins to heatsoak while I prepare my pucks it settles down and remains very stable. I put this professional quality kitchen thermometer in between the plates to see how accurate the temp measurement is. The tip of the probe is roughly in the center of the plates. In case you can't see it the PID is set to 85.

graspresso7_10.jpg

All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. I'm sure I haven't considered something that you guys may need to know, please don't hesitate to ask and I'll do my best to figure out the answer!

Brilliant....

Check for any oil residue/leaks around the jack....

Assume the jack can be replaced easily?

What's the max gap between plates i.e how tall a bag can be squeezed between?

Looks good. Nice and compact which is a major advantage over home build. Mine is massive in comparison and can't really live in a family home!

What are the price ranges for these models?

i have tested two different presses and was severely disappointed. the cheapest one Had such Low quality that even the handle Broker after 10 presses.
cheap good presses can only be DIYed. Not enough PSI in those graveda ones.

@cptofnthng that's disappointing! Which models did you test?

This 7 ton model has more than enough psi for me so far using 7g in a pre press and 37 micron filter. I've not needed to get any where near maxed out.

@Chicken No Name there are no signs of leaks so far. I'll be keeping a close eye on things and will report as soon as I have issues. The Jack is held down with 3 set screws iirc. I'll double check when I unpack it next but it should be fairly trivial to replace the Jack I would think. Good call on the measurement between the plates, I should have thought of that lol, I'll measure that in a couple of days. 👍

They look very cheap and nasty, you started too low and gave up before reaching a decent unit (may as well stayed with a hair straightener), I do vape dry herb, have for a few years and must say rosin is heaps nicer all around, better taste, less drying of the throat, way harder hitting, longer-lasting effects just to name a few.

As a package I suspect you are right @FlyingLow .
But the EU hasn't been served by dabpress for over a year and appear to have no intention resuming so your point is only relevant to the north America's.

In Europe we are much more limited with our choices.

I looked at the graveda and decided that I could achieve better quality at the cost of compactness and some time/effort building my own.
Better quality than any package I would wager.

It's a real shame that dabpress have made their decision. It would provide more options for us.

Yeah, I had been emailing dabpress for a year, each time they replied quite quickly and apologetically, they would resume production in ~ 3 months. I don't know if the end of that 3 months will ever arrive and just wanted to get on with squashing.

Honestly, if I had known I would have been as happy as I am with this 7 ton unit I'd have pulled the trigger months ago.

Exactly my experience. Polite replies, always 3 months delay.
I gave up on them 9 months ago and graveda had only just started with no reviews so I was a little hesitant and went the DIY route.
It's great that graveda have provided another option. Hopefully you will get many years of pressing out of it .....

I promised @Chicken No Name a couple of details.
The gap between the plates is about 30mm
IMG_20210630_155548_copy_1280x590.jpg
There is some adjustment at the bottom of the plate cage that could get you a few more mm.
IMG_20210630_155714_copy_1280x590_copy_1280x590.jpg
The Jack is secured using 3 nuts and bolts, not set screws. I think the hardest thing when replacing the Jack would be to drill the holes in the new Jack in the correct places.
IMG_20210630_155937_copy_1280x590.jpg
IMG_20210630_155913_copy_1280x590.jpg

Lastly, I thought of another measurement worth having and that's the diameter of the ram which is 28mm

So I've had my 7 ton press for 2 years now. There is a slight leak in the jack or guage assembly in such that it looses pressure very slowly, but it doesn't leak any fluids. I'll pack it away with the plates closed and they will have opened up by the next time I take it out. Other than that it's still going very strongly and I'd certainly still recommend it.

Hey @Cheebsy it seemed more relevant to continue our conversation here.

I didn't realise you had the 7-ton machine as well, so I am pretty happy to go ahead and order this after reading your reviews, just wanted to check if there were any accessories I should get from Graveda as well, things like parchment paper, bags, magnets etc...

If possible I would like to get everything all at once so I can start pressing on day 1

Thanks for the help.
