I am familiar with that company  It's these guys: https://limelightmechanics.com/

Their stuff is top notch - you should check it out. I've been using their nic vapes for years and I'm really quite unfeasibly delighted to see them do a dry herb vape 💗

I'm disappointed it's not wooden. Most of their stuff is, and all the more beautiful for it.

But if it's anything like their other devices it will be simple to operate, the quality will be excellent (e.g. smooth, solid mechanics) and the finish will be flawless. The customer service is also very, very good, they've gone above and beyond more than once for me.

Sorry if I sound like a shill - I'm not - but I do love this company and I'm excited that they have started moving into this space.

But not quite excited enough to overcome my hate for FB/Instagram.

Does this model have a removable battery.

Key Features:

• 21700 BATTERY (5300mAh) REMOVABLE

That amount came off as a pretty premium about for a newcomer manufacturer without a track record.
I agree.
Looks very slick on the pictures (i have no social media to get more info off) but i'm left with some questions for sure.

Like the mouthpiece:
Looks like there's some sort of labyrinth to cool the vapor? If i see it correct the mouthpiece end is above the battery compartment so the bowl is not straight under the mp?
I'd like to know how the inside of that top part looks and what it's made of. I'm not fond of this style of cooling tbh because i think cleaning this style of cooling mazes must be a nightmare.

And i have some serious doubts about the mouthpiece itself...
i don't really fancy the shape of it and it looks like plastic or silicone? If that's the case that won't do it for me (especially not for this high end prize)...

The removable bowl makes me think that you could use a capsule system that operates without the bowl in. Kind of how the FW9 operates.

I was excited when I seen the heating element but at that price I'll probably never be able to afford it. Is too bad...

The pricing is definitely not what I would call competitive, for what it is. At that price I would expect a handmade artisan vape. Or at least something with a nice wooden body like the TM2 or FW

so that website shows a very stylish design in wood, people will buy it just based on that as it is quite striking. Yes i see now where battery is removable and you have an option as to capacity of said battery.
More details are very welcome especially with the fairly high price, and learning this is 510 based. It seems rest of industry wants to move away from 510 and it appears here that heater is 510. What is the rationale for this engineering decision?

For me nic vape experience seems radically different in process & materials ( e fluids) than what is used in dry herb vapes. Thanks for the post.

There are similarities and differences I guess. Both are essentially 18650 cells powering a heater with via a user controlled electrical board. But yea a herb vape does have many additional considerations.

And I can't speak to their herb vapes. All I can say is that they produce _the best_ nic vape mods IMO, and so I have high expectations for this. Hopefully they will be fulfilled 🎉

510 based.... doesn't 510 just refer to the type of connection? Like for the dreamwood glow. Presuming this isn't that type of affair.... then if the heater has a 510 connection that might mean it's user replaceable internally? 🤷‍♂️ Massive guess on my part.

some interesting points. I will defer to others on here with more experience than myself . it does look nice. I don't mean to disparage the product since i've never seen it or used it. Just seems with the price, everything needs to be best in class so everyone wants to know the details.

I didn't want to imply 510 is bad as a technology by any means, I just understood it to mostly be associated with cartridges & since the technology always seemed to be so problematic but that was probably more on the issue, nothing to do with heater or anything. So maybe i have a mistaken impression about carts etc, I've never owned one tried it once and swore that off.

Thanks for sharing the link. I took a look at their past products, and I really like the design esthetic.

That price puts it in a range where it had better be a really amazing vape, or it won't sell, but it does look like they are into making quality components with a high level of reparability. I'm looking forward to learning more about it.

I had the same thoughts. Being a new product it’s a tough sell for me at this price point. I was just getting ready to order another well known device around the same price, but figured I’d wait and see if this is released soon.
