For the Love of Family: Marijuana that Doesnt Get You "High"(How to aid a Family member with Cancer)

So a while ago i had heard that a grower in California was attempting to create a marijuana strain that doesnt get you 'high'. It was purely to grant the medicinal benefits without, what some may consider, the 'effects'.

Effects being: dry mouth, lethargy, lack of motivation, lack of concentration, etc. Weve all heard the list.

But some people seek the healing benefits of it without the typical effects. The specific case was a child with severe epilepsy had gone through every 'western' medicine available and the mother decided it was time to give canabis a try. BUT she wanted to give it to the child WITHOUT the typical effects. Whether or not this actually worked i have no idea. But it got the mind thinking.

Some Non-users who have tried it disliked it solely due to the 'effects' of it. But some of those non-users could desperately benefit from its use. So create a strain for those kinds of users who dont want the 'effects' but want the benefits.

This comes even more personally as i learn that a extremely close and dear family member of mine has, TODAY, been diagnosed with anal cancer. This is no joke, no gag, no bullshit. Some members on here have had diagnoses with cancerous results as well.

But this family member, to my knowledge, is against marijuana use PERSONALLY because of the 'effects'. The family member is in a Medicinal State, Vermont, and will be getting Chemo and Radiation. Ive seen the results some user have had in these situations and using it has created much less damaging situations, at times. No prognosis was given, nor what stage it is. But from some wikipedia searches it claims 2500 new cases a year and 800 die a year. BUT it says typically the people are 60+ years old. The family member is less the 50 years old.

I feel this family member would benefit from a no 'high' producing marijuana strain, if such a thing exists. This sits on the realm of science and information and research, but im not sure how far any of those have come in this field.

Thank you adobe for your response. Once the family member begins treatment i would like to talk to them about this option. I love them very much and only wish to ease some of the trouble they will have to endure with the various procedures. I feel it would help them, even if slightly, overcome this endeavor.

And being that their locality is within Vermont, access should be a minor step to gather. Im not sure of their laws for concentrates (oils, puregold, waxes, etc), but maybe a light vaping flower unit wouldnt make them 'high' but give some of the benefits they could surely use. I know personally having used a flower vape i dont believe they as Intense in comparison to combustion or vaped concentrates.

My only wish is to aid them in this and im not sure how to go about it. I dont feel at this point that jumping into the MM topic would be a great "i want to help you" step. I dont think they would be accepting of it, yet. But once they undergo some of the procedures, talking about it may open up some considerations in their mind. Or maybe the doctors working with the family member will make the recommendation from an early point in this lengthy situation.

Cancer only survives in an acidic environment. Promote alkalinity through diet changes and the body will completely heal itself of cancer on it's own. I believe that diet is 100% to blame for every single disease in this world. We are meant to eat mainly fruits, and some vegetables/leafy greens. Our body can't recognize all the processed dirt that has become our daily meals. This is why the world is sick. Every type of cancer, is caused this way. Image the body as a sewage system and it is plugged with mucus, and filth. From birth we have contributed to it's decay.

BUT. the world works in an amazing way and there is a divine energy that courses through every bit of consciousness. The body needs time and the proper environment to heal. FASTING is how the body kills off diseased cells and produces new healthy functioning ones.

If anything, I suggest educating your family member on the changes that need to be made to help heal and nourish the body. Yes, cannabis will help.. but food is a choice we make daily, and if we aren't making the right choices then we may unknowingly be contributing to our diseased state.
