Fear of Vaping Glass Stem Tar Scrapings is the Beginning of Wisdom

I ran out of stash after a nice 2-year run of fermented buddage from my 2023 harvest, and within days of going cold turkey, I was having the worst insomnia ever, with my fitful sleep interrupted by horrendous, vivid nightmares that sometimes woke me up screaming in terror.

So, in desperation for a good night's sleep, I rummaged through my old stems and found one that was caked with dark brown resin tar of unknown potency. Scraped a fair bit of that tar out of the stem and transferred that glistening goo into the heating chamber of the same stem, which I then inserted into my Airizer Air SE for a nice hit or two that I hoped would help me get a good night's sleep.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the tar scrapings generated massive clouds of vapor, so I foolishly took multiple hits in rapid succession, because I wrongly assumed that such deposits would have a lower potency than the original flower that produced that residue as a vaping by-product.

Boy, was I wrong with that potency presumption. In a few minutes, I felt like my heart was going to explode, as it beat in my chest as though I'd just sprinted 100 meters. At the same time, I experienced a full-blown panic attack that was so intense I thought I was losing my marbles. This was NOT the relaxing nighttime sedation effect that I assumed I would get from vaping that tar scraped from a glass stem. Took me a full hour to come down out of that very alarming overdose, and now I know better than to underestimate the power of old glass stem scrapings from sativa-dominant bud vaping.

In conclusion, if you ever find yourself scraping the barrel as I did when my stash ran out, and you decide to vape that tar scraped out of a glass stem, I strongly recommend that you stop after the first or second cloud, and then shut off the vape until the next time you need a hit. Learn from my mistake, and the world will turn, fellow vapers.
