Hey, so as suggested directly to the staff before and because through discussion we can perfect a layout of possible improvements, here are my suggestions for future updates on this forum. I will maintain this first post as per suggestions bellow if I manage to be able to edit it afterwards:
Vaporizer Pages
Currently vaporizers consist of threads, which is good but limited particularly for people who want to get an overview of a vaporizer. While going through a thread is great to acquire all kinds of different opinions, it's tedious and hard to differentiate opinion from fact.
What I suggest is the creation of vaporizer pages. These pages should be apart from the vaporizer thread, which should remain open and be directly tied to the page.
These pages should be editable by all members above a certain rank, and should have no owner. Any member above a certain rank should be able to create a page for a vaporizer. Edits like in wikipedia, should be tracked.
The content of these pages should be facts, no opinions.
Technically such pages should consist of four tabs:
Any user with a given minimum rank can submit a review. There is no text to the review, discussion and opinions are reserved to the thread.
There should be a page that consists of a list with filters to go over the vaporizers. Such filters should be based on the fields available in the sidebar details:
To compensate for this addition the forum should now have additional features:
Discuss, approve of and disapprove of.

- A list of vaporizer forum references.
- A list of retailers sorted by location with 1-5 star ratings that members with a given rank can provide(retailers should be able to purchase a place in this list for an acceptable fee paid to the forum in as a do-follow or no-follow link according to price paid). Further improvements would crawl sites and update prices as in vapospy.
- A page with a sidebar:
- On the left a post-like area for text, can be similar to the thread content made from bbcode turned into HTML.
- On the right a sidebar with details on(once these details are reviewed by a moderator, they should be edit locked):
- The vaporizer, including a standard picture, date of release, name, portability type(desktop/portable), use type(on demand/hybrid/session), heating type(convection, hybrid, conduction), pathway, materials used, cost, average battery duration at fixed temperature(180ºC) and no-follow link to the vaporizer page in their site.(manufacturers can pay the forum a pre-defined very large amount to turn this link into a do-follow link, bringing massive authority to their website).
- The manufacturer such as their logo, name, company name, location, date of registration, and a no-follow link to their website.(manufacturers can pay the forum a very large pre-defined amount to turn this link into a do-follow link, bringing massive authority to their website).
- A bottom part of the page with numeric reviews(1-10) based on to be defined set of parameters such as:
- Ease of use.
- Portability.
- Safety.
- Battery Duration.
- Taste.
- Versatility.
- Capacity.
- Efficiency.
- Cost.
- Design/Appeal.
- Sturdiness.
- Reliability.
- Availability.
- Accessory Availability.

- Use type(Demand/hybrid/session)
- Pathway
- Materials
- Manufacturer
- Price Range
- Rating scores
To compensate for this addition the forum should now have additional features:
- Ability to reference a vaporizer with for example #Mighty automatically linking to the vaporizer page(internal trust flow for SEO and ease of access), and making the post available in the list of forum references mentioned above.
- Images uploaded should be able to reference a vaporizer as well. When they do so, they are automatically added to that vaporizer's gallery.
- Ability to reference a vaporizer manufacturer for example ##HealthyRips automatically linking to the manufacturer page(internal trust flow for SEO and ease of access).
- Ability to reference a vaporizer inside as a thread topic, automatically adding it to the list of forum references mentioned above.
