Evaporating alcohol from mct oil (feco)

My friend made me some rso from some trim I had left over. I asked him add a little mct oil at then end to make it thinner but there is still a very strong taste of alcohol when I'm ingesting it. Is there anyway to evaporate the alcohol out of the mct feco mixture or is it ruined?

Alcohol will evaporate at something like 175F. Heat will get all of the alcohol out. That's what folks do when making essential oils if they don't have a distillation unit to recover the solvent. Shouldn't be hard to hack together a double boiler setup to warm up that RSO (that'll keep it under 212F).

The "classic" way to make RSO when using solvents like naphtha (what Simpson originally used) or ISO, was to add a bit of water near the very end of evaporation while stirring. H20 has a higher boiling point, so that when all the water is gone, all the solvent is gone also.

A coffee warmer works well for this.
