Ok, so this is a one of a kind item that I had Ed make for me a few years ago. Since it has never been used, (and probably never will be as I don't really use the Solo much anymore), I'm asking $70 + postage (my original cost).
I'm not sure what kind of wood it is, but I'm sure Ed can tell you if you ask.
Ed's shorty Solo stem is included (yes, I used that a handful of times). The unit works just like a traditional dugout, but with a Solo stem. The stash area is quite deep (~2") so it will hold plenty of ground bud, but I've never used it so can't say exactly how much.
It does not have a spring unfortunately, so the stem needs to be slid out while covering the stash opening with your thumb. It's not difficult to get the stem in and out, but a spring installed would solve the "thumb cover" problem.
