Do you use lists?

Maybe not the oldest, but possibly the fartiest!
I've always found lists useful. I had a love hate relationship for personal list managers when I worked, so over 30 years. I tried many. Sometimes they worked for me for a few years, then not so much.

Then I retired and rediscovered cannabis! Hah-Zah! I use Google for almost everything (even on the iPhone and iPad), but I find MS To Do the best list manager for me. Ticks all my checkboxes: Free. Cross Platform and web. Multiple Lists. Sub-lists. Due Dates. Reoccurring (the way I want then to). Reminders.

Apple Reminders isn't bad, but no native Windows app.

But more importantly, I find that I need to add a todo to the list immediately when I'm medicated, or I will likely forget. Anyone else heard that cannabis can affect memory? I cannot recall hearing that before :-)

I have a friend that in college (early 80's) would have her little spiral bound pocket sized notebook always out and ready for list entries. She also was a stoner.

So, lists or no lists to help remember? If yes, what do you use for personal (non-work) to do list management? What's your list story?

I definitely use reminders on my phone.

I have a pretty good understanding of where my mind is at any given time (with regard to "memory") and rather than stress over forgetting something, I will say, "Siri remind me tomorrow to call..."

Probably my very favorite feature of these newfangled mobile devices, aside from the ability to make calls.

I use a piece of paper in my back pocket for today’s todo list and personal/family schedule shit to remember and get done. I also use Microsoft notepad for list for other more formal lists - next action, ideas, waiting on, clarity, reference, projects.
