Different strains need different temps?

I don't know if "strain" is the right word, but I noticed that some weeds make a good vapor when started at 385-390 degrees, while others I need to start at 410 degrees or I barely get any vapor at all. Actually, this last batch I got is the first I ever got that needs to be started at 410.

Is this normal and what causes the different required temperatures?

I'm using an Arizer Solo by the way.

Thanks

yep certain strains tast better at lower temps than others. lemon haze for example. start at a lower temp to enjoy those lovely flavours that i would zip right past if i vaped it normally. :p

it's to do with flavour that I am talking about, not extraction potency.

The visibility of the vapor seems to vary based on strain. OGs are strong meds and seem to produce more visible vapor than something like say Pineapple.

The amount of moisture in your plant material will also be a factor in what temperatures (or how much sustained heating) one needs to extract vapor. I usually just stick with the same temps for everything, though and just try to run the stuff until it's clearly taxed.
