The Dani by Battery-free Ganz

Are you challenging me to a DUEL, good sir?!...

Ball's in your court, playa! (again, I am rotating because I am heating below the silver ring, and I finally found the line of combustion... didn't really want to revisit that experience)

-----------------------------
I've done a few (more) mods to my Dani. I drilled the cap holes out to 1/16", and I filed the tip's "grinder" grooves deeper (see pic). It has helped some with the restriction, but not completely solved it. Regardless, between those mods and overheating the hell out of it with a propane torch (8-10 seconds passed the clicks), I am able to get a fairly effortless one and done bong rip. I'm not recommending people repeat what I've done, as I don't want to be responsible if somebody destroys their unit, but it certainly can be done by somebody who is comfortable with tools.

Just received my order over in the u.s. I have tried it with the glass stem and i must say i'm super pleased.
*One person sesh.
*Aomai single flame lighter.
*2 hits per heat with holding in first hit so the second hit came around 10-15 seconds later maybe more maybe less. Lol

I went into it knowing i had to go past the click (7sec on first hit) but with a single flame aomai lighter it takes about 35 sec full heat up at the bottom of the ring. Loose packs give bigger clouds. The very very first hit(2-3 hits per heat up) is a little less dense but after that it is on. The second heat up after the click is at about 7 seconds and i went 3 seconds after the click (10 seconds total) and the clouds were pretty tasty on the first two heats and then on the third heat it tastes like its almost done and is a harsh hot hit on the throat. I had the benefit of other peoples posts to know the flaws but i must say that the performance is right up there with the higher end brands. I am a fan!!!

Lord help my wallet. Looks like that MP might make it work with water pieces. Can't wait to hear from the company when that's available.

I like the wider heat ring. That way you can still hit the ring but heat lower on the cap.

edit: Aesthetically, I prefer the wider/thicker profile of the fins on the previous gen. I'd prefer a wide device all the way down, vs thin like this with just the head thick. But it's a personal preference.

@TeaCup yes I'll try to remember to break out the calipers this weekend for you.

Standard fitting connection would be great, I'm still waiting for less threading before I become interested... Nice rolling upgrades

The metal stems fit into a 14mm stem

I have had the V2 for over a week and while impressed with it, the upgrades look to improve the experience. I have settled into heating at the very bottom of the silver ring with half the flame below the ring. A light pack gives 2 very equal hits of pretty tasty vapor. Not as dense as Anvil but not far behind. It is very very consistent once you figure out how you prefer your hits. I use the silicon mat to deal with the hot lids. Solid vape and getting improved.👍

Pretty much echoes my experience exactly... succinct and on-point.

I've held off on posting a review for a little while, till I get comfy with it. Well, I like it!

First of all the design is very neat and appealing to the eye, I'm a fan of its size and find myself just fidgeting around with it after usage, feels very nice in your hand. The most noticeable details that need improvement have already been pointed out and seems are being adjusted quickly, which is the threads and slightly harsh airpath, which I don't find much different than with Dyna (closed port). Cooling can take a little bit of time depending on where you're situated, windy/cold weather can slightly hinder the vaping experience (as expected with this vape style)

Tbh, it took me a few days to dial in the heat up time, I've come around to finishing a bowl within 2 heat ups and still trying to lock in the 1-heat-hit, been holding past the click for different lengths (5-10-15 seconds) so far I had to do a 2nd finishing heat up besides once or twice.
Heating below the ring or on the line between, maybe throw in some rotations. It gives off the cooldown click pretty fast but I'd love to get one hit extractions out of it (I will!)

I still haven't taken it apart or tried the glass mp, which I should. I'm a bit afraid of tearing the black o-rings, that part seems to be set in quite efficiently and I don't want to apply much brute force to it

One thing I would really love is a heat resistant accessory to carry it inside, just drop it in after puffing 'n ready to go

The V3 is looking kick-ass! I'm gonna follow this closely and once a flagship model comes out I'll pick it up. I was actually considering a wooden one but I have a feeling I should wait for the (newer) metal one down the road

Waiting on my water piece from DHG to try that mix out as well, will update =)

Have a great week people!

Edit: Just tried it with a chinese induction heater, pulled off two huge rips from one heat up, game changer for home!

That beautiful V2 looks lonely on that mat.

Of course, it is called SJK dental induction heater and I got it from Aliexpress, vendor is Artspa dental store
It's plug-in only and has a little pitch noise when turned on but fortunately there's an on/off button on the back, very easy to use besides that
If anyone is familiar or has it - I leave the BFG inside for a full heat cycle after click
