Best Bong/Bubbler for $100?

I think the title of the thread is pretty self explanatory. I'm looking to purchase the best bong I can for my vaporizers that doesn't pass the $100 mark with shipping included. I've currently got my eye on this beauty here.
I wanted to see if my fellow vaporists here at FC have something superior to recommend before making my final purchase.

Requirements:

*14mm Joint -Necessity, an included reducer is acceptable to obtain this size
*Glass - Obviously the thicker the better, clear is preferred.
*Height - I'm looking for something around a foot tall, nothing too far over this. 15" is maximum.

Additional Things I'm Interested In:

*Diffused Downstem
*Percolator - Multiple arms is even cooler
*Ice Catch
*Inline style will be top choice, while beaker style is slightly preferred over straight tube style

Id look for any EHLE product over any black leaf product.

Over on EDIT you can get a nice 10-12inch EHLE with ice notches for around 75$ shipped. If you wanted to add a diffuser youd be looking at close to 100-110.

Other sites to check other than grasscity

I was looking at the 250 EHLE before I found the Black Leaf.

The thing is, The Black Leaf is a beaker, comes standard with a 6 arm percolator with a splash guard, a diffused downstem, an ice catch, and 5mm glass thickness all for $95 shipped from grasscity.com after using a 15% discount.

The EHLE is a straight tube with only an ice catch and 2.5mm (half thickness of the Black Leaf) glass. And is $75 shipped. Adding a diffuser stem to that brings it to $100-110 shipped.

I just can't naturally justify losing all of those features for a $20 lower price tag, or even $5-15 higher if I want the diffuser stem.

If I should reconsider please explain why, as I would be interested in hearing more details.

Glass is one of the things that you truly get what you pay for. While you get more features with the black leaf, the quality can certainly inhibit the performance of the unit.

EHLE is regarded as one of the better brands in the glass market (commercially). This is especially true for entry - mid level pieces.

Dont take my answer as the only one, others will chime in also regarding this thread. Just offering my personal opinion.

I appreciate the opinion. I do like the EHLE's and was nearly set on buying one after hearing so many people here rave about them. I even had the checkout open.

I love my EHLE 250ml, and its the perfect size for a log vape in my opinion(noticed your in the PD club). I use my EHLE with my Mzap almost exclusively. It provides a good air to vapor ratio.

I dont use mine to combust however. So for me all the bells and whistles are useless; especially if theyre made in china and will possibly make my experience worse. The only thing I may add in the future is a diffuser for my EHLE.

I've got a soulshine family travel tube (beaker style) that is great with my MZ and/or combustion. With showerhead diffy, it was $75 shipped.

The glass is 4mm thick and its about 8-9 in. tall. It fits in the hand perfectly and gives smooth diffusion with clean cool hits. Truly, now I really need a whip-vape to use with it.

I was doing the same kind of research just a month ago or so and people didn't seem to positive about Black Leaf glass at all on any of the forums I checked out. Plus thicker doesn't always mean stronger, the quality of the glass and the way it was treated/cured also says a lot.

Anyways, I ended up with a 500ml Ehle with a bend neck and ice notches. In hindsight I could have done without the ice notches, much easier to keep the thing clean without them (I got a special brush to keep the tube clean but it's to wide to go past the ice notches, lol). But perhaps I'll enjoy the ice more when summer comes. It's also a bit big for a daily driver but I do like big hits so no complains there. Most Ehle I've seen do come with a carb hole though. I still don't understand why, but that doesn't seem to be to popular on your side of the pond so it might be something to take in consideration.

If you do decide to get an Ehle I definitely recommend getting the diffused downstem with it. It draws so nice and smooth and it also a lot quieter than a normal downstem.

Most websites will be having sales on 4/10 through 4/20...Aqua lab tech is 13%, rx industries is 13% as well...so id wait until then to make your purchase.

Yes, the diffy stem on the ssfg travel tube is 14mm and fits the log vape style tubes perfectly. I've even used it with the mflb, holding the mini-whip to the hole in the slide and that worked great too. It feels quite sturdy and not prone to easily cracking/chipping (I hope). I love how clean it stays when vaporizing and needless to say, it tastes great and gets u hiiiiigh.

I think that SSFG travel beaker is even listed for $60 now.
I would get the SSFG for sure if I heard some solid reasoning behind why Black Leaf has such a negative stigma behind its name.
I don't understand the stigma, I can't find a single negative review about this specific bong so I'm having a hard time eliminating it as a choice.

So basically right now my choices are the following with the prices I can currently get them for.

1. Black Leaf Elite: Beaker Style, 15" Tall, 5mm Glass, 6 Arm Percolator w/ Splash Guard, Diffuser Downstem, Ice Pinches $92

2. SSFG Travel Beaker: Beaker Style, 8.5-10" Tall, 4mm Glass, Diffuser Downstem, Ice Pinches. $60

3. EHLE 250ml: Straight Tube Style, 12" Tall, 2.5mm Glass, Ice Pinches $75
w/ Diffuser Downstem $110

the glass community regards chinese glass the same way the vaporizer regards chinese pieces.

You can do it if you want, but we are just trying to give you better options for your money. It is your money though and you can do as you wish.

If you can find one, I love my SYNs. I know Syn has supposedly gone out of business but a lot of shops here still have a huge stock of them. I have a couple of beaker bottom tubes of theirs and the quality is outstanding.

got a straight tube from SSFG, at the time they were going for like 70 with shipping and standard downstem.

I have a video that shows how well it works with the PD, its been posted around here already but I will get it up again.

No bong or bubbler is worth $100 or more.

Either use the money and get a good vaporizer like a Magic Flight Launch box or hit up a local glass blower/artist who makes bongs and bubblers as well and you won't get raped with prices.
