Battery for Incognito Vaporizer

Battery Pack has alsmost been almost finished. It is useful. 1 3/4 - 3 hours of vaping.

But I would like to know something, How can I get the best of two worlds size/weight and Capacity. I've looked into LifePo4 and L.ion and Nimh. Anyone wanna work with me on this? any help would be appreciated.

LiPo. But they need to be taken care. They need to be balances charged and should not be handled to roughly. Although you can find many many videos of lipo batteries exploding/burning, in almost all those cases the battery was rigged to malfunction in a terrible way. I use lipo batteries in very high discharge applications and I have yet to cause any serious malfunction. I'm not SUPER careful like some guys either.

LiFe batteries are good, NiMh and NiCd you might as well forget about. Its like carrying bricks and they don't really discharge that much juice in relation to weight or size.

Have you looked at what the NO2 is using? It may not be enough capacity for what youre doing but I can usually get 4 complete heatups/vape sessions out of a charge.

i like the LiFePO4 type, made by A123Systems. Massive discharge rate, fast recharge, totally safe - won't explode or burn.

those butane fuel cells look pretty cool, no flame of course, about the size of a deck of cards and four times the power of lithium ion batteries in the same amount of space...if only they already had re-chargers available.

since you're stuck with Li-Ion batteries, it just depends on your needs and the density you want to go with

26650's have twice the amount of power than an 18650, but is bigger and heavier

what's your power draw, and how long do you need it to last?

keep your stacking to a minimum as i believe if you charge in the pack the batteries in the middle usually die first

i've only been reading a bit about them over on Electric cigarette forum, and some on the flash light modder's sights. for e-cigs the high-drains are better than the normal lifepo4 because they want more power than the normal batteries have to offer, so they become stressed during use of the atomizer...i don't know if this translates to your heat source, Hippie may be able to comment better.
