Amsterdam Advice

So finally decided to fulfill a lifelong dream and head to Amsterdam.

I'm here now until wedmesday. Anyone who has been before can you recommended any places to visit thing to see etc? Best coffee shop? Best burger bar? We went to see the museums today but the cue was 3+ hours and its €20 entry for most of them and we are trying to experience this city on a tight budget.

So, any advice guys?

I like Barnies and the 420 coffeeshop. Which is right buy central station.

You have the falafel place and the burger joint that does the wagu beef right by the 420.

Man I wish I were there.

If you make it to Barnies ask for Dr Grenspun 100% sativa strain. Then post pictures so ppl can see how weird it looks.

I've only been once to amsterdam to visit coffeeshops(been there a few other times for different purposes), and I only visited 3 or 4 shops.
all of the ones I visted were great, but don't remember all the names. one that I do remember was a nice coffeeshop a bit further from the center, called Katsu, had a nice atmosphere('gezellig'as we would say in dutch)

can't say much about museums, only been to artis once with my dad when I was a kid. but that's a zoo, not a museum.

Make sure you find 'La Place' self service food hall.

Its AMAZING!!!!
