All Glass Setup

Greetings everyone.

New vaporist here, converted by a few weeks of reading this board.

My first vape was purchased a few weeks ago, a vapolution (posts by marcuss indicated I might like this one). Overall I like it very much, especially the taste imparted by the GonG. I tried combustion the other night, and compared to the vapolution, it tasted like licking an ashtray.

Last week I got a simple glass tube water pipe, and paired with the vapo--- YAR DUDE, IT ROCKS! I just ran the tube from the vape into the downstem.

Is there a way to make this setup all glass--that is, eliminate the run of plastic tubing coming out of the vape bowl into the downstem? I've seen glass adapters that fit in the downstem, but they look like they still need that plastic tubing.

The Vapo bowls (straight and buddy) are so narrow. I don't know. The AIW bowl may have possibilities though, since it ends in a round mouthpiece-it may work with 18mm. Don't know there either. I'm not a bong user. If you don't have the AIW bowl I'd recommend getting one. Even if it doesn't work with your bong, it's much nicer than the standard bowls with tubing.

There is always the vriptech heat wand, or you could custom modify a Hakko.

I did get a glass wonder straw, and the taste is excellent. I'm thinking the angle of the straw would be difficult to mate to 18mm to the mouthpiece, but I will dream on it. What came to mind was getting some glass tubing, and just using the vinyl tubing as short connectors. Still not totally glass, but maybe the taste would be improved with less tubing.

Thanks for the links! Probably time to stop MacGyver-ing the glass and tubing in the vapolution, and get with a professional program. The vriptech does seem to be in the direction I'm looking. The herborizer also looks like a contender.
