advice on a new vape

Hi everyone, I hope I posted in the right place, I'm new here, can you recommend a vape to add to my "collection"? (I already have: vapocane, dynavap, anvil vestratto, vapman, boundless cfx, airvape legacy pro, plenty and tiodw v3..)
I was thinking of getting a tinymight 2. I also like the solo 3 but I would like a stronger extraction, similar to a ball vape. If you have other vapes to recommend instead of the tm2, I'll listen to you, thanks in advance

Hey welcome to FC, those are both great choices, I love the TM a lot so easy choice, you might also be interested in checking out thermal accumulator and tempest? DV anvil style baller vapes... So many options here!

hi, I find those butans interesting but I would prefer an electronic one, on my alp something was completely blocked in the air path (there where it can't be disassembled) and it's unusable (I didn't look after it well otherwise it was an excellent device I don't want to speak badly of it ). However, here in the EU I can't find any other devices as powerful as the TM2 seems to be, except maybe a couple of Chinese vapes that I don't trust too much (End Game Labs and Angus 100W Ruby, both portable electronic ball vapes, the only ones I have seen with the spheres)

Oh it is trickier in the EU, there are other threads specifically for the EU, someone else was asking recently too... Yeah TM2 probably the best regardless and especially there...

You might like induction heaters for those torch-based vapes??

Endgame is a company that used to sell knockoffs of others, not sure if they still do, but I wouldn't trust anything from them and would never want to support them yeah (also not a fan of Angus based on my own experience initially) never tried ALP, that one also didn't interest me for a variety of reasons...

I'm not sure what's going on, why your text is larger, or you were trying to alter the color?? Those are easy to do though with the post control panel, so not sure why am I seeing code in written text lol

ok thanks as I thought, I still have the idea of getting a tm2 (maybe the purple heart version), I'm also waiting for other users' responses, maybe they'll find me some alternatives, you've been very kind

ahahahahaha I didn't touch anything I don't know why the text looks like this

The airvape legacy pro was my main portable too until I discovered two new vapes recently. The Solo 3 and the Angus Enhanced.

I can recommend either of these two (I own both) as a successor to your AVLP. You can combust with the S3 so I don't think you'll find it lacking in power and taste is great. The Angus Enhanced, if you can find it, is a redesign and newer than the Angus 100W and it is an excellent vape for flavor. Also powerful.

You certainly wouldn't go wrong with a TM2. It's an established winner for some time now but it's generally more expensive than the portables above if you're price sensitive.

There are great options listed above here too! There's also the Tornado, which I own and is an amazing successor to the Anvil according to those who own both. These aren't only "butane" vapes because they can be used with a battery powered induction heater like the isPure Wand (used to be iSpire). I only use the Wand.

Yeah I think TM2 vs S3 has its own thread to compare, they are quite different, I find TM more versatile, capable, flavorful, portable and comfortable, personally well worth the price (the Walnut is fine too, I don't have PH here but have that wood in others, as those PH unit upgrades seem fairly negligible imo)

In how many shots can you finish a session with Angus Enhanced? perhaps keeping the temperature at the maximum

If your goal is to finish in one, tough to beat TM, what's awesome is that with the full temp range dial, you can start insanely low on the TM, turning it up tiny bit by tiny bit, to milk many hits off of one bowl conversely... This is just an example of what I mean by versatility (I also don't use the stock setup, I prefer aftermarket stems and hooks for the TM and they're preferred with the Solo too)

well the tm2 costs €350 and the purple heart €400.. but it seems to have several improvements starting from the fact that they have replaced the glass parts with others in zirconia and some other more resistant pieces

No, the only two differences between them should be thicker, more robust ceramic posts in the heating element, which honestly shouldn't really matter since I've never heard of anyone breaking theirs before... And yes the zirconia instead of quartz around the heater, which also shouldn't really matter and could be seen as a negative potentially? Most TM and TM2 have not been fragile, can survive drops etc, I mean anything can break from a bad drop you just never know, those are things that make the purple heart more expensive along with the wood being more involved to process, but I don't think they really justify the price if that is a concern of yours, you can absolutely save money this way and the money is better spent on aftermarket stems and other glass imo

If I had to guess, you could probably kill a full bowl in 3-4 big hits at the highest temperature but I never use it this way personally. I like it because of the halogen flavor and the taste. It still has a lot of power (2 x 18650) and great extraction for a portable but its strength is how good the flavor is and how long it lasts.

If you're looking to kill a bowl in the least pulls possible then TM2 is probably your best bet.

I think the TM2 is hard to beat for your wishes.
And as stated by @Shit Snacks it has the advantage that it's much more than that: it surely has the power to do single hit extractions but it's equally great in tempstepping or low temp extraction.

As for the choice of walnut or purple heart i'd say you can't go wrong with either.
I have both versions and zero regrets ;)
Personally i do think the PH is worth the extra 50 given the fact that it took quite some finetuning and experimenting to get the wood stable enough for production, there's also the internal changes that justify the higher pricetag somwhat imo.
And of course there is also the fact that it's pretty gorgeous so yeah:
They took my dough... :D

But that doesn't change my love for my Walnut at all, it's my on the go vape while i use the PH indoors exclusively so i never thought of the Walnut to be fragile tbh.
My advice would be to buy whichever you like best, i do agree the pricetag is on the high side but "buy once, cry once" is appropriate here.
There will be no regrets!

I'm happy to hear other people satisfied with the tm, it seems valid, you've almost removed all my doubts

It's a Tiny Monster!
You can also check out the TM2 thread for more user feedback, it's a very long thread but loads of info there.

you've almost removed all my doubts

I'm sure one bowl in the TM2 would remove all remaining doubtsl! :D

Kidding aside:
maybe more people will post and other devices might be thrown in the mix.
Doing your research before taking the plunge is always a good idea (for sure when spending that much money) so the more information you gather the better the outcome will be...

Another strong TM2 recommendation here. I love using mine.

If the OP isn't in a rush, could it be worth it to wait a month or so for the new Yllvape Aerolite to be released and tested by the FC community? If we get lucky, it might be a TM2 alternative at half the price.

To be clear I wasn't saying it's not worth the extra money, I'm saying for someone new, there's no strong reason to get the more expensive one? They wouldn't be lacking anything with the walnut TM2 really, so I think the extra money is better spent on aftermarket glass if a choice... They all are priced fairly well though regardless, I was just speaking specifically in that perspective
