wood care

Been using my capsule mouthpiece for my tetra and noticed it's getting waxy in the wooden part. I got the glass insert soaking in smoke/vapor residue cleaner but I assume I shouldn't drop the wood in with it, does anyone know what I can use to clean that part?

I have a few wooden vapes but the one I’m most concern about is the iHeat. I have some Dreamwood wood “wax”, and I was what’s the best way to apply it, and do you “buff” it off after you let it sit? How do I know if I’m using enough? Do I do the inside joint area on the iHeat since it’s all one...
