I can't remember now, but is there a sticky side to the silicone pad? Could you have put it upside down and you're burning the glue?

This is unlikely I think. Normally Titanium is machined with Tungsten or Titanium carbide tools. You can use High Speed Steel, but the cutting faces would wear so quickly, it wouldn't be economical. It does look like some kind of chemical residue or rust from somewhere else. I saw a post on...

I gave away or sold my Dynavaps after getting my tempest. I think they are a big improvement and can be dialed in for taste really well.

The red and black units I ordered for friends arrived this week. I think the red looks amazing. And the new screens are very nice too. Ordered myself a set of those and they do seem more open.

Have you tried heating it up to make the metal expand a little first?

You don't have to rotate it as much as the V1. Just heat the middle, I go to the 2nd mark on the VI and it's great everytime.

Yeah, this is about as much information as we have on the new reloads. I see Brenyo has added a "random mix" reload 2 factory second option for £27 to the mad heaters page, absolute bargain!

You have to try it through glass soon. It will take your enjoyment to a whole new level! When using the T2 natively I've been setting my wand to 315c, when I'm using it on a piece I've been increasing it up to 320c to 330c and getting really good results. A week ago my temps were much higher...

I have, but much prefer the T2 stem I think, but mainly because I much prefer using it on a piece via the WPA.

I never got on with the Dynavaps personally. I've tried quite a few and I've sold them all since getting my tempest 2. All I have now is a T1 and T2. They are miles ahead of the Dynavaps in my opinion, it's not even a close comparison. For me, the Dynavaps are too tight on the airflow and I...

Yes it did. I think it helps the end of the reload tool is a little sticky, so it holds the screen nicely. @Grass Yes Using the reload as a funnel is an ingenious idea! I'm going to try that next time thank you.

@BearFuur Have you tried using the screwdriver / debowler tool that comes in the Reload 2? I find that works perfectly for doing the ball screen.

For those of you using the V2 wand adaptor and the tempest 1, do you set the depth the same for tempest 1 and 2?
