I agree. All else being equal a longer spinning bearing often has looser tolerances and/or less "preload." I don't need my OMD to spin for a fortnight, I just want that bearing to prevent metal on metal contact between the pieces. It really is a luxury grinder.

You're already at "squeaky clean" with the TM2 for vapor path, especially if you use it with water. Ball vape will have more power and keeps the metal heating coil out of the airpath, but something else has to be the heat matrix, like ruby. If you're a light user ball vape will be overkill...

I know one other vaporist, and I got him into it. His first vape is a TM2, and he'll be fully off of combustion soon.

From the specs listed the key differences appear to be the bigger battery and the titanium mesh heater. I'd expect this to go at least as hard as the TM2 and to also be mostly convection. Kinda surprised there's no mention of balls.

I've experimented with homemade Everclear tinctures of decarbed flower, with decent results. I like to use them to dose a Lacroix. Effects are mellow, good pain relief. Not particularly useful to me for sleep, but nice.

There are also issues that certain people love to complain about even if they aren't really that noticeable. In a house full of stinky pets my wife only very rarely comments on vape smells.
