The lack of a joint on the bowl/downstem is a bit of a bummer, but I've found a somewhat janky (but airtight) combo with an ash-catcher and the downstem's 'seal' that does the job for now. I'll need to find a better catcher for the job though, as this one has a perc and it's all just a bit too...

That's a good point - I always forget about that little stir stick until I have the Lotus in my hands lol. Could use an adapter I guess? It's a shame, it's at a perfect height for torching in it's current position.

Gorgeous! I've been away from home for the last month or so, and I'm very happy with my choice to bring my little olive vapman along. It's been serving me beautifully. You can't beat a coffee + a vap bowl in the morning I reckon :) Mine (& friend):

The Gen 2 & Tempest wooden sleeves are interchangeable, i.e. the old wooden sleeves will work on the new Tempest CU, and the Tempest wooden sleeves will fit the Gen 2 CU. Can't speak for Gen 1 sorry!
