I had a similar issue with some of my caps for my v3 pro, they told me to just take some pliers and pinch it a very slightly at the top of the non lid portion.

Hoping for a silicone boot and top, the boot being a bit tighter and meant to stay on, with maybe a plastic rim molded around into the bottom as to keep it standing up nicely, instead of being squishy and prone to tipping. The top being akin to the HR rogue cover, but with the mouth piece...
