Which way is the diffuser plate supposed to be facing? In the exploded diagrams it shows the smooth side facing up, but I'm pretty sure it came with the smooth side down and the side with the bump facing up.
Just got a version of the pipe tool, it's pretty good for loading. I have a small metal flask funnel I use for the Lotus but it's not great. Have to tap and push material through.
Holy crap. I mean the pipe is amazing but not $500 amazing.
Wonder if MacQueen pipes has anything that would work. They have some designed to be dynavap compatible.
One thing with mine, the WPA screen was doubled up. I assume by accident. So it trapped way more stuff, enough to combust when it blocked the air flow. I do use a medium to fine grind though.
If you find something that works please share. Was thinking a stiff metal screen like in dynavaps would be an improvement but dosing caps are also a good idea.
Mesh screen gets mangled quickly if you brush out the WPA each time.
I mostly use whole nugget chunks with the glass screen WPA for max flavor. Stir and breakup with the pick as it dries.
I added an ash catcher to keep the flower bits out of my water.
Ice stem is the best for direct use and fun sometimes but WPA is the way to go.
Combusted again and wasn't fast enough getting the cap off. Disassembled and cleaned but wood still smells.
Could I stick it in a bag with some baking soda? Cover it in baking soda? Soak it in acetone?
Does anyone make an injector style bowl/WPA that will fit the enano nxt? After using my new Lotus a bit I think that style bowl with the enano instead of a stem would be great.
Edit:
Hmm, have a 10 to 14mm glass adaptor for dynavap that fits on the heater and into my Lotus WPA bowl.
Kind of...
Was there a design change recently? Blue is from a few months ago, black just arrived today. Feels great. Wish I'd got one way sooner. Bud stays perfect with a boveda pack.
(And if anyone read pre-edit black lid wasn't fitting because my dumb/stoned ass put the lid pad in upside down after...
Get a dynavap B+ (M+ on B body) and a torch for when you have no power. Basically no flavor but it extracts quickly and fully.
Battery life on portables is generally pretty bad.
I have the glass screen shorty WPA. I do like it but a lot of flower ends up on the water. Fun for when you want to do a whole nugget chunk taster bowl.
Really wish they'd had fixed screen stems in stock when I ordered. Added a long stem but that and the stock stem will never get used, just way...
Ah ok, that makes sense.
Back to my other plan then... the screen + small condenser chamber from my v3pro WPA fits in the enano stem. I think with the right oring it would stay in place.
I have a suspicion the condenser might also be an improvement to the draw, and it'll catch particulate that...
So probably can't use them to hold a flat screen in place in one of the standard stems then? Only thing I really don't like about the enano is the basket screens and how clogged and dirty they get. Would really like to have a flat machined screen instead of wire mesh.
