    Liberation day - US Vapes

Until recently (like my whole life, and I’m retired!), I viewed “made in the USA” as a good thing. I live very close to the USA border and the round trip to pick up a package (at my USA box) was easily under an hour (including border crossings!). No longer. All our purchases now involve...

    Tafée Bowle

I have — on temp 5, with some extract fibres or similar. I was sorta happy with the results, without anything to really compare it to.

The right angles of the included cord gets in my way, and I didn’t get an actual charging brick with my (full/silver) kit. I ended up using a short USB-C to USB-A adapter — so I could still use the USB-C plug with my included (USB-A to UBC-C) cable.

    Aerolite Vaporizer by YLLVape

The following post from very early this year is the one that concerned me, especially when the device appeared very ready for release: Especially now, given the insulation “fix“ they used their other flagship (?) device. The other thread (Fiberglass found in Angus Enhanced) is still locked...

    Fiberglass found in Angus Enhanced

While I had little current interest in the AE for me (and my particular use case), I was quite excited about the Aerolite! I saw this post from early January that concerned me more than a little: This post was AFTER the clip posted by on YouTube by BingsBuddery (Dec 23, 2024). With the AE...

I’ve never used my potters either. At the moment, planning on a “mint tin” solution from Delta3DStudios — which holds 8 pots.

I’m optimistic as well, but so far it’s all just spec’s (promises). These might be minor adjustments, but they seem more significant — especially so close to announced availability. I’m optimistic about the device.

    Bud Bee Grinders

I’m no expert on vapes or grinders — I don’t know what I don’t know. My experience so far with my devices is that too fine can choke some of my devices. Too coarse might result in some uneven roast, at worst. Other than cheap 2 piece grinders, my experience is limited to my Large BCG. I’ve...

I don’t know what I don’t know. Different devices, for sure. TB2 is not difficult to use, but it’s not nearly as forgiving as the Venty. I vape either in the garage or on the back porch — depending on the weather (it’s cold and rainy here in winter) — so it’s portables for me. Fast is...

I started doing this, too (when I remember!), after reading your post. Never dawned on me before (as someone who has only seen water pieces used in videos!) — but makes sense. I actually find the pots’ design brilliant. The rim makes handling VERY easy and it stays relatively cool (compared...

I much prefer using the WPA as a mouthpiece. I like the more natural round shape (vs the duckbill), and that I can hold the device in any orientation. The WPA can be configured two ways — so that the glass is directly over the chamber, or offset (which gives a bit of adjustment of airflow as...

I use dosing capsules 100% of the time, the metal chamber, with the WPA (as a mouthpiece). I’ve removed the screen from the gasket — but still use the gasket to keep the capsules in place. Becomes a VERY easy device to keep clean. But using capsules will reduce capacity slightly.

I'd gladly lose the puff counter. The 5 clicks is my main negative for the device -- which says a lot about the device! There isn't really an "industry standard", from what I can see. I have devices that turn on with 5 clicks, 3 clicks and a single long press. In any event, the 5 (properly...

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

I wouldn't worry about damaging the device. It'll either charge the device, or it won't.

My limited experience (I use an external charger) is that if you can plug a USB-A plug into it (USB-A to USB-C cord), it should work. It doesn't seem to be true USB-C.

I tried this with the WPA (I THINK it might have been with the glass directly over the oven, but I forget -- went back to the offset way), and the lid of my capsule would OCCASIONALLY come off, resulting in some unintended debris. I removed the screen, but put the grommet back and haven't had...

I measure my METAL chamber as 10.8mm diameter. Height is more difficult… 12.6mm (ish) without any screen inside the chamber, I remember dumping the contents of a “normal” capsule (for me) into my V3P for comparison — I was surprised how little it was. With POTV (CA), if your basket doesn’t...

The POTV capsules and the V3P are the same size, to my eyes. Took out my (AMZN quality) digital calipers: EXTERNALLY with lids on: V3P capustule: 10.7mm diameter x 10.8mm tall. POTV ONE capsules: 10.6mm diameter x 11.0mm tall. I only measured a single sample of each… so factor that in...

Try and ensure the grommet is seated properly in the lid (Take off your WPA and have a look). And that the chamber is inserted properly.

POTV Canada Site sells capsules. XMAX V3 Pro Capsules (reg $8 ea,). They also sell capsules for the "Planet of the Vapes ONE" (4 for $15). Both products on sale at the moment for 20% off (assuming 420 sale, so likely to end soon). Shipping would be additional. I use the POTV-One...
