Yes, but to actually turn it on your pocket would need to hold the button in for an extended period of time. I”ve never worried about that at all. A momentary “press” would result in the buzz indicating power level. You’ve got to press and hold for the heater to engage.

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Pulled the trigger there this AM as well. Totally conflicted with the choices and just went with the Olive. I did the same thing in December with the Click and went with the cherry. Figured that I would try it out and would then add more woods later. Dr. G, is that how you started!?! I...

    Hmmm……that certainly sounds intriguing…..

    Vapman

Hmm, I find myself feeling the same way as RedZep after my first few days with the Click. How would one reach out to Renée?

    Vapman

Received my first Vapman today. Shout out to to VGoodiez for blazing fast delivery of the same Cherry Pure Click. I gave it two coats of Ed’s Bomb Butter but did no sanding. After first use, I did notice a little surface roughness that I’ll take a fine grit to before re-buttering per your...

I love the GVB stem that I picked up a few weeks ago. Went with the pink lemonade cooling bricks and lIke the way that the stems fits without an adaptor - very solid. The candy packed in with the shipment made a sweet 4/20 deal even better.

Is the stem loose going into the elbow joint or is it the stem bumping around the exit end of the FW9? I find that the stem sticks a bit with some usage but that felt applied to the stem opening or a silicone washer slipped over the stem itself will firm things up.

The last few posts discuss time to temp and notification buzzes. I find that my heat up time varies a bit with battery usage. I get a very quick “ready” buzz with a freshly charged battery or with a second cycle fairly soon as the bowl is already close to temp. So there’s a bit of variability...

With the sale going on, enjoy the best of both worlds and pick up the bowl kit as well.

I’d been thinking about going for a GVB stem and finally pulled the trigger after reading this thread today. I like my HA stem but look forward to not needing the adapter. Good luck to all those looking to snare a FW at tonight’s drop.

I don’t have a FW7, so I can only answer in light of my FW9. Fully retracted, the mouthpiece on mine does extend slightly, maybe a millimeter or two. There’s no detent for the mouthpiece or locking system that engages like the WPA does, so you can slide it out of the oven. I find this more...

So, you’re doing a burn off cycle without material, right? I didn’t notice much when I first did one (bowl option as well). How did you do your initial cleaning? Did you do anything to the oven itself or get any mineral oil near the coils? I would stick with it, I think you’ll be happy.

So sorry to hear this. The spacer sits flush with the bottom thread on my bowl. Maybe snap a pic of yours and contact Marc.

Are you sure that the ceramic washer is fully seated? On my bowl version, I need to rotate the washer a bit, helping it “screw” down into position, which leaves room for the bowl funnel to be tightened in, first with my fingers and then a nickel. The oven capsule itself just sits in there...

Very thorough and informative. I am careful with the threads as well and will try to mimic the way that you position your fingers for max leverage. I’ve been using a nickel to start or finish threading the bowl funnel and while I’ve been careful, it does make me a little nervous.

I’ve just watched the site for a restock in the past. I needed the stem adapter as well and it was restocked after a week or two.

I’m glad to hear that things are progressing and that you’ll be reunited soon. It’s a super vape and while worth waiting for, you’ve done more than enough of that. Best wishes for smooth sailing from here.

So sorry to hear that. Have you heard anything about it yet? I know from your posts that it’s been awhile. What sort of issue were you having originally?

The MFLB was my first vape and although it has some nostalgia value for me, I don’t see much similarity beyond the fact that both the FW9 and the MFLB have wood bodies. Filling the MFLB trough took a lot of weed as well and it took forever to extract. I had poor luck with their plug in power...
