Unbelievable. Are you familiar with the possibility that your opinions are not universal truths? Why is it so offensive that others might have had different experiences than you did? There's no debate? Yes, there is debate! Not everyone agrees with you, so there is debate! That's what happens on...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

Yes, that's my answer, and it works perfectly. So? As I said, I'm not pleased that the threads are an issue, and I want them to fix it, but in the mean time not tightening them all the way works great. I do the same thing with the peanut butter jar so my wife doesn't complain that I closed it...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

Gary has said they are planning a special edition of the Pro, even asked for ideas from us for it. Not out yet, not even announced afaik.

I guess all I can say is I've had a very different experience with them than you. For me, with my workarounds, performance is as good, maybe a little better (I assume because of a little more vapor production due to a little more conduction), so there's no need to raise the temp higher than usual.

I've had my dosing caps for a couple weeks. Definitely some issues but on the whole, they work well and I'm glad I have them. Many of the issues folks in this thread are complaining about are pretty easily addressed. (Which is not to say Airvape shouldn't take the feedback and improve them...

The HighLighter (Glass-Core Open-Source Halogen Log) Kit Hosted by REFC Labs

I tried that and if you crank the power up it does work. But with a clip and the male-to-male it no longer fits in my pepper grinder heat shield, and it just looks hinky. Getting something custom made is a good idea, but I suspect it would cost more than I want to pay for what is essentially a...

The HighLighter (Glass-Core Open-Source Halogen Log) Kit Hosted by REFC Labs

Has anybody built a highlighter using a heater core with an 18mm male joint rather than female? I'm thinking it'd make it possible to use with an injector bowl. I was planning to give it a go but have not been able to find a piece of glass with a male joint that has a large enough ID to fit the...

<shrug/> Doesn't seem unreasonable to me. I guess I value my time more than you do yours. Ah yes, random metal from old windshield wipers in the air path of my vaporizer. I'll pass. Edit: I went and actually checked TRWW and I misremembered, they are only $9, not $15 (for the steel version...

Yeah, I believe so. E Standard actually, I think.

Here's a little hack I've been running: a dynavap cooling unit from The Rogue Wax Works inside the glass air path tube. Gets some good turbulence going in there (presumably), cools the vapor a bit, and doesn't restrict airflow at all. IIRC they're about $15. I had one laying around. Photo:

Make sure the discharge rate is at least 10 amps.

Did you get the half inch ones that were linked? I have a few of those around from a different project and they seemed too small. Have been thinking of getting some of the 5/8" ones since that's just under 16mm which would be about the same as the Mighty screens folks have been using.

This would be great— especially if it took dynavap stems like the Fury Edge, POTV One, and (I believe) Xmax v3 Pro do. Instant huge variety of 3rd party stems to use. @Gary-Airvape as far as color, it's not on your list, but I'd love a dark brown and replace the fabric and faux leather accents...

Discontinued The NEO by Prrl Labs

I don't know if it's already been mentioned upthread, but my favorite way to use it now is this: I fill a rimmed basket screen with my material, and put it in one end of an 18mm male-to-male adapter. Other end goes in my water pipe. Neo goes right over the joint so the material is up in the...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

I once dropped the whole device from about waist high onto a hard floor. The glass airpath piece was totally fine, as was the rest of the device. I have a few minor gripes: - The power button, which is also used for on-demand mode, is not in a very good place ergonomically to hold down while...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

You're right, but you're wrong :) The thing you were trying to remove is for micro dosing, but not that way. It's on screw threading. As you screw it out, it extends further into the chamber, making the space smaller. Achieves what you were thinking of with the concentrate pad. Which would also...

The amp rating on a battery is a maximum though, no? I've never heard of issues with using a battery that has more headroom than required. I understand about the warranty and that some folks will stick with the stock batteries for that reason.
