I think the capsules shouldn't have threads at all. The threading is annoying. A loose fit lid would be better. I initially thought I might be able to flip the lid to do that (it looks like it can be reversed without threads but it isn't bored out enough to do it). They work nicely and I've...

I don’t think we’ve seen a full tear down of the ALP yet. I’d love to see one documented if you end up tearing it open :).

I don't really have a perfected method, but... 465F, max temp, full bowl lightly tamped down (not compressed). Hold the button until the buzz, keep holding it, draw long and reasonably fast deep into the lungs, hold 3, exhale slow. Your inhale speed regulates the temp a bit. You can always slow...

That's gorgeous. Beautiful use of material.

Would appreciate some help choosing my first Electronic Vape!

I personally use an airvape legacy pro. It’s pretty fantastic, but doesn’t have capsules yet and it can make a bit of a mess. Session modes are great on this. On demand is great. It’s a jack of all trades. I’d probably recommend it if the capsules were out, but we’re waiting to see capsules and...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

Here’s an after pic from a deeper cleaning. I wanted to see how close to “new” I could get the chamber. The little dark flakes still visible on the side are some kind of concentrate buildup that doesn’t want to wash out with heat or 191 or iso. I had to scrape pretty vigorously to get most of...

Never combusted. Not even sure it’s possible to combust using it the way I do. This vape doesn’t even combust when I’m hammering 464f on demand back to back to back. I use iso or 191 everclear depending on what’s handy. Usually I use 191. I dust it out and wipe it down. It does a pretty good...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

Close up shot of the oven. This is cleaned after every few uses with 191 or iso using the brush and a cue tip. This is actually post-cleaning, so you can see some residue has started to pile up. I think there are some faint scratches too, probably from the little metal stir tool that is inside...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

The bowl definitely doesn't look as clean/golden anymore. I can't say if it's scratched or just dirty, but I can't get it completely clean even with iso/191 and I don't want to scrape it with something metal. I'm not too worried about it. I'll give it a cleaning and take a pic later so you can...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

I've tried this, and it works... a bit... The concentrate pad is slightly too small, so some flower can get around it. It's also got tons of nooks and crannies so you end up clogging it up with bits of flower. Do not recommend.

Still don’t see much difference from removing the small gold screen. I doubt I could blind-test this thing with and without and tell the difference… maybe my draw speed isn't as fast as others. I've been finding myself just using the ALP native lately, brushing off the mess with every re-load...

It's artwork. Functional, beautiful, amazing art. These things are heirlooms. Significantly underpriced ;). Loved taking the journey through all 216 pages of this crazy thread. Feels like I watched someone's entire creative, mental, and physical process of invention. I watched you use a lathe...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

After trying it with and without that little gold screen/gasket installed, I don't really see much of any difference either way. Doesn't seem to drastically change anything about the experience. Which is to say... the experience is top notch either way.

Updates and thoughts. I did finally receive the mini water bong with the male water-bong attachment. The male glass adapter slips over the mouthpiece with a little rubber sleeve/gasket covering your ceramic mouthpiece, making it even longer and more prone to falling out of the device with the...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

I had an accessories order pending for awhile too but I e-mailed in a few days ago and I guess they had a shipping issue of some kind (change of fulfillment center) that's supposed to be resolved today according to the e-mail. So far, it looks like my accessories haven't shipped yet, so I'm not...

Well, those capsules look nice. I'll day 1 purchase them. I'm also a buyer for a capsule loader tray or a smellproof keychain capsule carrier.

    AirVape Legacy Pro

Did a deep cleaning today. Used some everclear to wipe everything down. I did encounter a bit of annoyance. The bulk of the airpath from the oven to the mouthpiece is a glass tube inside the device which is easy to clean, but, there are two small sections where the vapor goes through plastic...

Played around some more with wax. I threw the ALP into session mode. Taking advice from the thread (THANKS fogbank), I turned the device on and set it to heat on max temp. After a minute or so, I drew through the empty chamber to get things warmed up nicely, then I opened it up and put a very...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

Tacking onto my last post... I need to do more experimenting with the wax disk. First up, I want to know what happens if I try the wax with on-demand mode. I have no idea if it'll work well in that mode or not. I also need to figure out how much wax I need to put into this thing to get where I...

    AirVape Legacy Pro

Well, anyway, as for the airvape legacy pro... I think I'm going to call it the ALP to avoid having to type it out every damn time. I finally tried on-demand with some flower. Up to this point I've been sipping using session mode doing temp-stepping. With little sips and slow stepping I could...
