I have a ruby ball modded DBV w the special DDave wand and I enjoy it much more than the Elev8r, TiTi, and other ball injection vapes. W the DBV between 10 and 11 o’clock and a DDave wand I can get big clouds and 1 hit extraction from 1/4 tsp of material and stay well-medicated for 3-6 hours...
Speaking of suitable injector bowls, we’d found that the 18mm Grav Octobowls pair very well w TiTis, Elev8rs, and the Z1.7. Doing so gets the heater nice and close to the herb and provides an all-glass vapor path. Does anyone have a 14mm Grav Octobowl to pair w their SX and see if it seals well?
Not sure which thread would be best for your question (mods can move if they like) but I think that 8786D uses a 9 Pin female Jack on the hot air side and a 6 pin male on the soldering iron side.
For this build, is there a recommendation for stretching the coil vs leaving unstretched? @slikrick photo shows a bit stretched and @VGOODIEZ photos show unstretched w most of the coil on the top 1/3 of the post.

To find my sweet spot for draw resistance, I kept approx 25 3mm rubies and took off the air inlet screen. May have defeated the purpose of the rubies this way, but it’s more comfortable for me. Thx for the suggestion.
And also among vape styles. If I can get satisfying convection medication from a log vape at significantly lower temps than injection, a log might become the daily driver unless the hotter injector posed no significantly elevated health risk.
