    Vestratto Tornado heating tips

try the reheat in the Wand while pulling. You'll see the vapor increase, you'll feel the temperature of the vapor rise. Usually when I use this as cues for the reheat I stop heating just before click.

I'm better at dealing with heat lock and mostly avoid it. But I have a #13 wrench and grip pliers next to my desk.

I alternate. For the effect and signature imo torch is better. I think the wand is underpowered. I can get there with pre-heating, but the torch puts in more energy faster. I´m a Tornado slob. Once in a while I'll run a pipe cleaner through it with some iso.

you don´t need to spin. paint the flame up and down the device. or, concentrate on the middle of the oven part.

Checking now in fact: light caramel, good flavor too. I think the torch is still better, and even now I'm curious for the Forge. I travel with the Tornado, and I always take the Wand, not the torch, because it's so easy. I've set it to 315 celsius, and that's 20 seconds.

doing one cycle empty and then a loaded cycle gets me better results. A hot Tornado is a happy Tornado. Or heat for 5 seconds, remove from the Wand to so the heat can distribute, then finish heating until click. My aim with the Wand is to get the Tornado hot enough but not cook the herb too...

Maybe I've got a windpipe of steel, but no. And I was surprised too. I had expected the vapor to be hotter than it is on the OG stem

I've got it on the OG Anvil stem. Airflow is great. I love it on the old stem. You won't regret it. Cooling is no problem at all

Kitchen torch with a large flame. Heat in the middle of the bowl. I always give the thinner end of the stem a lick too, to make sure that's warmed up. About 10 seconds all in all. Heat till 1st click, no further.

I've gone the opposite route. I already had my dremel torch and that worked great. Now I've gone on to a kitchen torch at full blast. Takes about 8-10 seconds to get to click. Very interesting vapor and effect. With the anvil I was careful not to combust. With the thermocore oven, RTL gets you...

Not the first time you've written a post like this. Only thing I can say: try one, and you'll know. Coming from the Anvil, I've had to unlearn most of what I knew about that vaporiser and it was my daily driver

Apparently, you shouldn´t move the Tornado inside the inductor ring. There´s a warning email out

I've got a Forge that was a brick straight out of the box, so I've become cautious. Nothing but love for the devices though, but they shouldn't have gone into "unique never been done" electronics. That's a different ball game altogether and the Vestratto team could have realized that. I...

I jury rigged an old OG stem, people have been sawing off their Anvil stems. It's a righteous work, @ScruffyWoofers

I'm sawing off the USA adapter to fit the Tornado. I still had an OG stem and that works fine. I like the Vestratto stems because they work so well on glass.

I think a pre-heated Tornado is a happy Tornado with the Wand. I have mine set to 320C and that gives me 30 seconds of heating. Usually the oven clicks at around 20 seconds, depending on how hot the device already was. I let it run out. I'm going back and forth between 320 and 315
