That's understandable but they definitely have to hire someone for the customer service communications or something. Many people I know by now would have just told their banks the company didn't send the item and keep it moving.
I'm not going to do that, however I would like a working unit...
I'm starting to lose my patience with this.
I opened the warranty claim at the top of the month give or take a few days and from there it seemed as if I was getting somewhere, the customer service agent and I were communicating for the first couple of days.
Then about 4 days later they give...
So since my last interaction with hopper they linked my hopper to my account via email. I wasn't really notified when that happened due to the miscommunication in emails, but in the end it got registered and I was able to fill out the warranty form.
First hurdle.
I opened the warranty claim...
Well [redacted user] was so kind as to email hopper on my behalf a couple of days ago, I really thank him for doing that because it had been over a week at this point and they still hadn't responded to any of my emails. He messaged them inquiring about his friend's warranty on their account and...
That's really cool and interesting. I wish I had the courage to try but knowing my luck it won't go well haha.
Are you able to make a Youtube demonstration at all? :)
That's rather frustrating to say the least. Sorry to hear that.
As for why one would invest, they're likely unaware of better options that matched or exceeded. At least I wasn't aware, at this point I'm all ears if I don't hear anything back.
Yeah that's quite ridiculous, don't have patience for that so I commend him on that.
I wish I even got one cloud out of the hopper I got not even a week ago, haven't had one response since I recieved it. I was gonna buy more accessories for it asap to counteract the lagging mail services but...
Maybe it's something I'm missing...
I just realized I was technically emailing the hopper IO email support and not the warranty claim process, so I went to go do that. The serial number on top of the device is fine.
Where is the ID code located? The instructions say on the label on the bottom...
That's unfortunate, the case didn't even look realized from the pics, but the battery charger I was actually considering.
Hopefully there's another AC option in the future.
I just contacted hopper about the new body, hopefully I get contacted back sooner than later.
I was also wondering, has anyone got any of the accessories successfully such as their bubbler, steel case and battery charger?
I saw on both the steel case and the charger that they would begin...
I didn't think of cleaning the contacts since it was a new unit, but I will give them a swab once it's done charging. I did however get a second battery and used that subsequently after the first one had near depleted. Same results though, the batteries seemed fine. Thank you very much for the...
Yeah same here, I'm mostly going to use mine at home and would prefer the reliability. The batteries would be a nice option for potable though, I'd use them every now and then to maintain the charge.
Also just got my hopper finally after a week of delay at the post office, probably due to the...
Thank you for that. I thought the colored titanium ones were delayed so I ordered a regular titanium, I guess that I was mistaken. I may have to contact them to switch that.. lol
So I took the risk and and ordered the titanium iO, not sure how fast their initial mail process is. I'm anxiously waiting though, hoping to the stars and back that I get a functioning device.
I'll report back when there's an update tho.
