1A is an extremely conservative estimate - the draw on each of my two dogs fluctuates between .55A and .56A at 12V.

I find I get best results on the PD using the combination of UD glass stem and the thicker of the two sets of tubing. The thinner tubing that comes with the glass stems doesn't create quite the seal that the thicker tubing does.

I just took a razor blade and chamfered the outside edge of the silicon tubing, makes the fit much better with the female 14mm. I've got a low profile 18mm-> 14mm adapter that I have dedicated exclusively to a UD stem.

I've got a purpleheart twig, I love it. It definitely is hot to the touch and I feel like it's slightly warmer than the average log (I'd rank it on par with or slightly hotter than my two CRZ).

There are two diameters you'd have to use, I believe 1/4" and 3/8". Check out the glass stems Underdog sells, they're great. I'd love to see you make a sweet custom piece that fit the UD stems.

I've got an SS myself and I have to say I absolutely love it. Having never used the ceramic, I'm not sure how it would compare. Regardless, I'm quite comfortable with the SS because it's in practically all of my log vapes.
