New screens purchased from S&B are dome shaped, you just drop it in & gently press into place. Never felt it scratching anything, just kind of pops into place.
Captured is typically the last update you will see on your S&B account. You should get a shipping email from stamps.com within 48 hrs or so. This has been pretty consistent with the last few orders I’ve placed.
Troy & Jerry have found some “interesting things” regarding the Crafty+ and Mighty+ & will go into detail in next week’s stream. They recommend to wait before buying until you hear what they have to say. Convo starts at 4:07 in this vid.
Pretty sure this is why we won’t see replaceable batteries in S&B products.
“Storz & Bickel managed to get the Mighty+ certified by UL, a U.S.-based global safety certification company. The Mighty+ conforms to UL8139, becoming the first dry herb vaporizer to carry UL logo officially. To S&B...
I’ve had my Crafty+ for nearly 2 years (Nov 2019) and there are zero signs of wear around the chamber area. I feel like I would need to drop it on concrete without the cooling unit to damage it, the design feels solid.
Troy seemed to have changed his mind about the Crafty+ in one of the recent Troy & Jerry podcasts. They were comparing it head to head with the Mighty & he seemed surprised that the Crafty+ was hitting a little harder at the beginning of the session.
$399 USD.

Prob gonna wait until my OG 2015 model bites the dust. May pull the trigger on that Onyx Hybrid though…
The Crafty+ launch was loaded with social media teaser/hype posts prior to the official announcement. No keynote speech or anything like that. Didn’t seem to go over well with most fans, so I’m guessing they wanted to go with a more professional launch for this one.
My Crafty+ needed about 5-6 burn offs. Strong metallic smell from the heater. Mighty needed nothing, good out of the box. I would fire it up empty with no cooling unit & give the oven a good whiff. If you smell anything give it several heat & cool down cycles until you smell nothing.
George said in the IG live stream on 3/21 that he hoped everything would be ready to ship by early April. Not sure why a few people got theirs early, unless the M’s are ready to go but not the VonG or Omni.
Jürgen Bickel already mentioned better battery life and faster heat up times in the video. I’m hoping for an improved display screen and a more reliable power button. The Crafty+ upgrade was designed to fix the devices faults, not necessarily change how the device operates. I see no reason...
I think the longer heat up time is due to the larger heating element compared to most portables. Heating this thing up in 20 seconds will almost certainly trash the battery even quicker. Advanced battery tech is one of the top things they should / hopefully be working on for the next gen device.
I charge every 2 bowls most of the time. I keep my battery between 20-80% to maximize lifespan. Occasionally I drain & charge completely just to give the battery a reset. You don’t want to store the battery below 20% or above 80% for long periods of time, it will diminish the overall lifespan.
