That will most likely always be the case. The Crafty is conduction and convection, the Plenty is primarily convection. Try drying out your flower, and/or grinding finer.
I also use the dosing capsules and I still brush out the cooling unit and bowl after every use. I’d replace the coarse screen on the cooling unit with the fine screen included, that also prevents smaller particles from gumming up the works.
And, roughly every week I’ll run an Q-tip with...
I can’t imagine using a capsule and then just pitching it. If they’re new, you may to open and close a couple times. I just use my index finger nail and gently pry it open. No real tricks I’m afraid.
I have it posted on my lame Instagram account @bigcstowing.
I’m a low temp guy so feel free to adjust the temps up or down, or add 10 more seconds to the high temp you choose.
I use 5 temps as it seems to even out the flavor. I’ve found that the high temp likes it’s closest mate on the lower...
Interesting on the pick tool. It looks to me as if the older pick tool would be more sturdy.
The first thing I noticed was the change in plastic. They did the same thing with the filling chambers on the Hybrid and Plenty. Meaning, it looks like they chose a cheaper alternative.
Yes. I’ve always thought the Volcanos vapor was to dry and harsh. The only reason I bought the Hybrid was for the Workflow function. Low temp taste plus higher temp effects.
Mighty/Crafty vapor is uniquely different than the Plenty, yet both smooth and tasty. I prefer NY Strip, but a filet...
Press the screen in the cooling unit down through the opening. This will apply pressure to your flower. I know someone discussed nippling screens. Making them convex/concave holds the herb in place.
With the normal filling chamber the vapor from the Plenty is light and delicious, unless you pack heavy. I do not. It’s almost like inhaling warm scented air.
The following is for the Plenty my hybrid.
As an experiment I used the reducing chamber which creates more conduction and got very...
Although I have both, I have not received the replacement cylinder and insert.
The filling chamber housings are different sizes so unless they’ve changed the replacement size they are not compatible with each other.
Generally speaking, the lower the temp, the more flavor with more draws. The higher the temp, less flavor less draws with more effects.
Try temp stepping. Start at 356, get some great flavor, then move to say 370 and continue that until you reach your favorite high temp.
it’s all very...
