Well, it is digital -- though not an advantage for me I think it is noticeable. Only real advantage that I see is in the crucible/mouthpiece area. The snap-on crucible/mouthpiece design is nice, and will make re-loading quite easy, and it looks like the stock mouthpiece will fit a water tool...
The screen isn't necessary but keeps things cleaner when using ground herb. I took the coarse screen out of my teflon mouthpiece but use a screen atop my ground bud in the crucible. Keeps things tidy and I can dump midway through and save for later If I want.
It is not necessarily true -- the HA definitely works well with small amounts of herb. BUT there is a tendency to fill the crucible all the way up. And since I top my herb with a screen, I find it easier to get the screen stuck in there when the crucible is nearly full.....so I can at least...
I love the HA and use it solely......but I think a good caveat for a first time vaporizer buyer is that the HA may not be so great as it comes stock -- indeed I've never used it in whip or bag mode!-- yet I use the HA daily and have for over a year. The HA really excels at vape-bonging, even...
Using whole buds in the HA crucible works great -- it's kind of famous for it! But it's also kind of silly to pretend like grinding won't expose more surface area and more actives to the heat. This doesn't just mean more particulates are in your vapor -- it means more cannabinoids are, and...
They told me via email last year that they'd have a digital version by Xmas. And I recently heard the same thing from them. I don't care about digital....but I do like the looks of that new teflon vape-bong attachment!
I tried pulling it out when it was hot (per instructions to dump material while bowl is at its hottest) but it was clear it wasn't going to budge. So I let it cool down fully before exerting more force. It is still stuck in there, completely cool.
Well I was about to post my year+ update about how much I love the herbalAire.....but I just received the PV GonG and on my first attempt at removing the severely stuck and apparently too large GonG from the HA it broke/dislodged the internals. My beloved herbalAire is broken.
I didn't...
The HA mouthpiece does indeed create some nice honey oil! And unless vapor leaves the crucible, then I'll agree that the actives are still there. But I've certainly noticed a bit of black buildup on the insides of some of my crucibles. These are condensed actives that have been baked over and...
Tried it many times, thanks. The HA is after all my daily driver. Which means than MANY times I have left precious herb in there, and MANY times have noticed that it lost efficiency. OF, I'm wondering, have you ever tried to finish a load quickly? Perhaps you ALWAYS leave it idle for long...
I love the HA and use it pretty much daily......but I couldn't disagree more with this statement. The HerbalAire heating chamber and it's little crucible is like an oven -- and if you leave your herb in there it will get baked. It won't combust but you'll have lost most of your vapor and will...
Good additions JDSupreme. I'm thinking of getting a Pax. I've had a couple MFLBs for the past couple years but have only gotten weak piddly hits off of them. I've read a bunch and changed my technique -- just think their vapor output just isn't for me. So the pluses of the Pax are sounding...
The Inhalator uses polyimide as the herb chamber, so same difference. The polyimide in the Inhalator is going to be exposed to the same heat as the herb, whereas the hot air will have cooled somewhat when it hits the Delrin mouthpiece of the Pax
Definitely does NOT sound like just ABV to me....unless it's magical ABV that never stops producing vapor. The guys above are correct of course that testing before use is the best way .... but not the only way if you've been smart and clean with your device. Hopefully this thing isn't another...
You're putting a lot of words into people's mouths here. You're also confusing the issue of the HT IP vs. the Cloud IP. For you as a business they may be one and the same, but I think it's clear that some on here have a problem with the HydraTube patent, but have ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM with you...
Clear Dome's upright bubbler for the PD from years ago is exactly what I was thinking of. Regardless of whether VXL are easy to work with or not, it's kinda crazy that Rick and others making these for logs would have to get VXL's approval now, let alone give them a share of their profits...
