how is a cell phone pic gonna show the finish better than HR's professional photos? I believe the main issue is that the finish reflects whatever is nearby. So you'll probably need to have it in hand to see it's true color with your own eyes.

also, make sure you do pack it to where the herb is like 1 or 2mm from the edge of the bowl. (The edge rests essentially all the way to the bottom of the heater, so you need to manually make sure the herb doesn't physically touch the bottom of the heater)

The beeping can be turned off in the Notification sections of both the session and on demand settings menus... but the beep on mine and others units was on by default. With this, the nicks in the finish and your top plate being asymmetrical, it seems to me you maybe were sent a prototype or...

Oooooohhhh I'm def trying this! Thanks for the tip! And yes, turning Notifications off in BOTH menus made the beeping stop in On Demand mode. Weird, but happy the beeping stopped .... LOVING this thing so far!!

Thanks, but I've only ever been in On Demand mode so far. I'll go try turning off notifications from the settings menu accessible while in Session mode too, just in case they're criss-crossed on the software side or something.

For those of y'all that have one in hand, have you been able to successfully make it not beep at all? I have notifications set to off, but in On Demand mode it still beeps twice once it reaches temp, and then twice again at the end of the preset draw length. Is that how y'all's work too?

Anyone else have the lining of the bowl start to chip/peel? I have no idea how it happened. I only use a cotton swab with a touch of iso to wipe it out like once a week. (Maybe it was like that from the start and I'm just noticing?) @XMAXVAPORIZER have you seen this happen to a nano yet...
