Per RBT burn-in instructions, I didn't put the screen in the stem yet. I did clean the glass chamber insert and the chamber screen with isopropyl, as it looked like the glass chamber had some kind of powder on it, but I think it's just the glass texture or something since when the iso evaporated...

Thanks for the quick reply @KeroZen! So are you saying normal operation for the Splinter is to hold everything upside-down and hit the heat before turning upright so that things melt and stick together? Otherwise I would assume that when first inserting the mouthpiece it would cause everything...
