Done. Ok yeah I see what you mean. There are 10 pins on the top and the chemistry is NCA. Which for anyone interested in what that is, like I was, is Lithium Nickel Cobalt Aluminum Oxide. The number of pins make me think that each cell has its own wires coming out and has no brains in it...

So.... I did get a new battery under warranty earlier in Oct and the replacement battery has started to do the same as it did before, like hd_rider here. I'm not sure what you would call the use, but it's only ever on crystal advanced mode between levels 10-20 and used 5-6 times a day and is...

I'd like to throw in some feedback here that I've got from people. I have a large number of friends and associates who have liked the Switch but thought that it was overkill, too big too expensive. Just get a Puffco Peak. Well some of them did and now after they've been trying out other vapes...

Ah, yeah I've never really used oil. It's all shatter all the time for me. Well except for the odd rosin or live resin purchase.

Ah, I have a gas stove. An iso soak and scrubbing with q-tips is then some mechanical abrasion with a silicone covered tool and it's not bad. But it takes much longer than taking my MAP gas to the Sic and I don't think it ends up as clean as the Sic with that routine. I'm real careful with it...

I can't stand cleaning the sapphire cup personally. I've had some people prefer the sapphire and some prefer the SiC. I'm interesting in hearing your take on it.

Try a much lower temp. I found that I had to drop ~5 temp levels from the equivalent temp that I used for the other cups. You'll get better flavor and it will vaporize as much as other cups that are 5 levels higher.

Silicone will not be damaged by iso. It may swell a bit depending on how long it soaks for but it will shrink back down. Glad you're enjoying your Switch! Bummer about the glass though. I'm sure you're aware but definitely check out the thread where the temperatures that various terpenes are...

You totally can. The colours of the 2 cups are just to help you distinguish. Personally when I first got mine the white cup was for sativa and the black cup was for indica concentrate.

I got my SiC and sapphire cups in over the holidays. I've had some time on them and so have a few other people I know and we've done some blind taste tests comparing it to Eternal Quartz extra tall insert. We did not compare to the stock cups. Each person had fresh like-new cleaned inserts and...

Ok so I joined my short glass blowers fitting to this 14mm female joint using high temperature silicone tubing, link below. I get no taste from it and it lets me easily adapt the Switch to almost any glassware. I did try a few other silicone tubes but this was the only one that didn't add...

This is exactly what I'll be doing after my unit is off warranty. I'm undecided if I want to replace the bottom magnetic plastic piece with metal or crack it open and epoxy in some weights. My coffee table is on wheels and a month back the dog jostled it and the switch relatively gently fell in...

Should we be expecting more glassware for the Switch to be coming out? I'll be disappointed if there only ends up being blue and pink. They're so... stereotypical. Even if the colour is vibrant I don't think I could bring myself to buy one. But I also hate not being able to see if my rig needs...

Has anyone tried using bismuth as a heat transfer compound between the titanium and quartz bowls?

To clean them use a q-tip to remove the large particlesa the hold it up to a torch. You can use a butane torch but I have a large propane torch that does it alot quicker. Heat it until it glows and then as it cools you'll see the flakes and bits disappear. You might have to do a few cycles of...

How do we clean the sapphire induction cups? Also makes sapphire cleaner/better than quartz? Do you have any plans on making any of the percolators or the directional carb cap color changing? How does it work if we want to get any of our pieces faceted? Edit: I found my own answers on sapphire...

Woah. Those are made of 3D printed plastic. I would not trust bioplastic not to release fumes at the temperatures it will experience. Bioplastic still release fumes when burnt. Just look up the health effects of PLA fumes. I would totally buy one if it was glass though . Just got my quartz...

I also use this as a daily driver and my girlfriend uses it for pain relief. I use both the default glass and the ball attachment. Both work great, if you don't want to spend the money you definitely don't need the Pacifica attachment. I really do recommend the directional carb cap from Dr Dab...

Great answer, thanks for the response! I did not even know the knowledge base was separate from the support page. A quick perusal and I do not see how the temperature correlates to the temp led colours. That's too bad since the precise temperature control of the switch really lends itself to...
