I can't stand cleaning the sapphire cup personally. I've had some people prefer the sapphire and some prefer the SiC. I'm interesting in hearing your take on it.

Try a much lower temp. I found that I had to drop ~5 temp levels from the equivalent temp that I used for the other cups. You'll get better flavor and it will vaporize as much as other cups that are 5 levels higher.
