The only fully assembled 30mm radial coils that I've seen are the QShop ones. AliX has listings for some without the connector, but then you have to deal with the slow boat AND soldering.

I think the flavor differences between the filler materials has more to do with the roast profile (can you tell that I'm also an espresso snob? lol!) than anything directly related to the material itself. The rate at which the heat calories are released from the different materials can vary...
