Originally sold as an extendable magnetic pick up tool. It had a collapsible tube in it. Removed that and added a sleeve that holds the unit and keeps the head in place.

Works like it should, just has room to hold the unit as well.

The batteries are in the light head itself. That is how it works with or without the unit in it. On/off button is on the side, near the top. The spring is so it won't rattle.
