the threads of the screen OR the front end itself sort of expends or something (sorry if thats the wrong word). I use to be able to screw it tight after every use till even that didnt help

Happened to me too. Didn’t work with front end but did work with PFE (the screen gets loose). most likely the problem is with the front end. Save yourself the RMA and order front end/PFE

This sucks. Send them a short email ask them to send you a new one before you send yours, see what they say. It may save you frustration if they agree, and I hope they do. Good luck!

Both bodies will not work without front Endor with regular front end. Only PFE. One body will give me red to off 80% of the times I click and the other still goes 60% to blue and the rest of the times blue to off / red to off. It had a decline in performance the last month and a half. Heater...

Just received my backend replacement ! Loving it ~~~

After a great month with 2 working body parts, suddenly both are not working. Red light for a sec and off. When I unscrewed the backend I got pieces of metal stuck to the battery. It’s the silver metal ring around the golden plate. Broken to 3 pieces. I wrote to HL with hopes they will help. Sigh.

Both bodies are working great again ! I found that the screen on the front end got loose, and that it screws in and out so I used a tooth pick and turned it till it got sealed again. Now both are working again with regular front end which is great coz I prefers this from using the PFE :)

Update 2: one of them is working fine again!
