Thanks for sharing your experience. I have to say I tend to leave mine set at 375-380 and never tried the lower temps you used. At 375-380 and really drawing in/a big pull, sometimes I'll feel my throat get a bit dry and let out a massive cloud. Drinking a little water beforehand or using a...

I understand the point you're making on one level/I'm with you on not wanting to inhale funky materials in vapes but personally I think the vast majority of people should be much more concerned about their diet choices and all the disease/health issues such choices are causing over the long term...

@Little Bill glad you found the technique worth a try. Yes, good idea on just letting it cool and putting the stem in the sleeves with the plugs to seal it....I've done the same also. And given the solo II comes with a few stems/we can have unlimited stems of course by buying more, I've had...

I've found micro-dosing is easily achievable with the Solo II via a few different techniques that have worked fine for me without screens, etc. * Filling the stem bowl about half way, sometimes just a bit less. I get plenty of vapor/effects this way, nice vapor production, and the material...

On that topic, I think inanimate objects like our Arizer Solo II's often make much more common/logical sense than many humans these days. Hail Hail our Solo II's!!

Yes, use it or lose it on reading code for sure. I'd fail bad at any speed above probably 7 WPM on code now for sure. But yes, some of those guys are really good at it....I remember I would send some crazy speed Morse at 40-50 WPM with a computer and there were some old timers who would tell me...

Wow, things have changed alot then in the Amateur Radio World. I left it when computers were getting into sending/receiving AMTOR, RTTY, sending/receiving morse code at crazy fast speeds, etc. At one point I could copy 20-25 wpm morse code in my head but that's as far as I got. Thanks for the...

Good point maximizing battery life. The marketing aspect of selling a product like the Solo with a 2.5 hours of battery life vs one with 10% less of that is important in the competition game. Somewhat OT....with your interest in creating this charging device for the Solo, I'd be willing to bet...

Your Solo II will be very happy! As you with having an auto/slick solution. I'll continue to do it via a less glamorous/the "analog" way and keep a close eye on the battery charge meter on the Solo and unplug it before reaching 100%/estimate 90% charge or so.

Interesting info OF, thanks for posting. I did see that at battery U about the 90% charge max being ideal/the battery life gained. Big difference for sure. Took me a while to discover that but better late than never. Figure for the Solo II not going beyond that last charge bar or a bit below...

Plus the matter on "overcharging" the Solo II, ie leaving the charger on beyond 100%...battery tech today is the same largely in phones, the solo II, etc. as the Solo II uses a Lithium Ion battery just like most(all?) modern phones on the market today...

Just curious for those with a Solo II.....how many pulls/draws are you getting from a stock chamber full of material on an OEM stem before you discard the material? I know there's some variables here, ie temp, how long one draws, type of material/how dry/moist it is to start, etc. but would be...

Good job! And yes, overrated for sure. OF, I like your idea of a Solo II tied to retirement thinking. The new "gold watch" type thing. I retired at 45 yo, had an early retirement goal early in life and got out of the game early. One of the best decisions we made in life, being free on many...

Tried the water filled stem I bought from puffitup last night with the Solo II. Was most impressed. Ultra smooth vapor from it at my standard 375 F. I was going to look into buying a large water pipe with a stem bridge like many have done here but with the quality I'm getting with this all in...

Good points. Yes, our combo Colorado River/underground water here in the low desert is high PH/very hard so certainly the aspects of this cleaner is a plus on that point. Oxygenated bleach is a great cleaner for sure. Sounds like the PBW product and the other components it contains make it an...

Thanks for sharing your experience @AJS. @CarolKing.....what's your technique to only have a drop left? Edit: Actually, I think I got it....just blowing fairly strong air pressure several times down on the draw end seems to push most of it out. Hey, wait.....isn't it more satisfying/fun...

Hello Everyone..... Been reading this thread for a while but 1st time poster. Good information posted here! Have a Solo II for about a month now and like it alot. I also bought the water bubbler stem from puffitup. In regards to this/some comments made already, ie @CarolKing and @OF on the...
