I believe that rep was mistaken. Took a look at the warranty info on the site and it says 2-years limited warranty. Got in touch with the owners and they confirmed that the warranty is 2-years as well. https://www.cloudious9.com/WARRANTY_ep_4-1.html Have a new Hydrology 9 unit heading my way as...

    Arizer Solo II

With stem loaded, from room temp I'm heating up to 200° C in 34 seconds. I've been told multiple times it should be 20 seconds... No clue why my results seem to differ. I'm timing from the moment I set the temperature of the unit, not when the unit turns on.

    Arizer Solo II

I usually don't vape at such high temperatures. Usually max out around 200. No need to let the unit re-heat between tokes like the original. Once you get up to temperature (few cigar puffs at the beginning) you're good to go. If you leave the unit sitting for a couple minutes you might need to...

    Arizer Solo II

The airflow of the Solo II is virtually identical to the original Solo.

    Arizer Solo II

Without further adieu, some more comparison shots of all the Arizer portables together. Like I mentioned in the review, doesn't that stainless steel look fantastic?! Huge upgrade imo. *Also. All glass stems fit in all units.

    Arizer Solo II

No worries, happy I can be helpful :) I did find the original had a weak bottom plate, mine had a crack stemming from the screws. Didn't fall apart or affect performance, but not something you want to see on a new vaporizer. The Solo II has stainless steel plates on the top and bottom, so this...

    Arizer Solo II

Just gave both units a quick weigh in. The Original came in at 7.7 ounces, the Solo II was 7.5. Prettttty much the same.

    Arizer Solo II

Very much like the original. Even after excessive use with my original unit, the stem has a very slight wiggle at best. I assume the Solo II will be similar after getting more hours on it. Airflow was virtually identical between the two units as far as I could tell. Personally I think the draw...

    Arizer Solo II

The stem is quite snug. Actually a bit difficult to put in the first time, pre-heating the device first helps. Not entirely sure how simple a battery change would be. Unlike the original that uses Phillips head screws to secure the base, the Solo II uses very small socket screws. I haven't...

    Arizer Solo II

Hey! Posted a few pictures to Instagram the other day because so few people have had a chance to get a good look at the Solo II. My full review was published earlier today (it's actually posted in its entirety above...) As the review says, I'm a long-time Solo fan and I'm really enjoying the...

Just for a quick update regarding the airflow. Here is the old disk they used: These tiny little holes get clogged up really easily and the airflow suffers. They sent me a pic of the newly machined disk they are replacing it with: As you can see, the holes are much larger, the outside of the...

Got a few little tid-bits of information regarding the new Arizer vaporizer. They've been in touch with me and I have a unit on route to do a full review w/ pics etc. But in the meantime I'll let you know what I know. The new Arizer vaporizer is a Solo II. The general design seems almost exactly...

Alright! I got word from the company that should help address the airflow issue that some of us seem to be having. It has nothing to do with the two adjustable vents. The small disk at the base of the stir stick that has small holes in it has a tendency to get gummed up. Brushing off this disk...

The model I got for review was actually still a prototype, so the vents were just locked in place and I couldn't customize the airflow. I would assume all the way out would open the airflow, unfortunately I can't confidently answer that for you.

Sorry to hear the draw restriction has gotten that bad. I found that when the water level was too low (almost no water) the airflow got seriously restricted. Not exactly sure why, but when I filled the water to the 1/2 mark the draw got a lot better. Again, no idea why. I'd also check the vents...

I didn't experience the "machine oil taste", but this is certainly possible and something I've encountered with plenty of other vaporizers. It happens when the machined metal isn't properly cleaned. I'd avoid soaking the mouthpiece in iso simply because of the silicone portion, instead some warm...

There is a small ball bearing in the mouthpiece that will rattle. I believe it's there to help prevent any leakage when the device is turned upside down. As @Justpassedu mentioned, it may also have something to do with the airflow. Either way, it doesn't pose much of an issue unless you are...

Here is a photo of the mouthpiece with the glass portion removed. The inner white part is silicone. So to answer @Justpassedu , no compatibility with 14mm or 18mm. @phattpiggie While it could bring plenty of unwanted attention, it may also bring more desirable attention ;) haha. "Is that a vape...

I've got quite a few pics up on the review page, any specific pictures you're interested in seeing? If I missed anything I can snap a few more. Oven is pretty large, in the reddit thread I estimated between .2 and .3, since actually weighing it out, it's almost dead on .2 grams. It's located on...

Hey FC, I was the lucky duck who got to review the Hydrology 9 in the link above. Shared it with the fine folks on Reddit /r/vaporents and noticed you guys were chatting about it as well. So here I am, a new FC member, ready and willing to try to answer any questions you might have about this...
