Dude, if the battery wrapper is torn, you absolutely need to get it rewrapped ASAP. You don't want to mess around with battery safety. Regulated device or not, once the battery wrapper is fucked, these things can blow up. Edit: Might be a good idea to google li-on or 18650 battery safety.

What's the odor projection like after 1-2 full sessions? i.e. if I put it in my pocket, will people around me be able to notice the stank?
