    Underdog Log Vapes

Thanks very much for the offer--I'll shoot off an email... I'm sure we'll put it towards our next dog :)

    Underdog Log Vapes

Yes really great idea putting it on a timer in case you forget (or pass out) and don't unplug the dog! Our update: We received our vvps (I think it's just a "bucker" no "boost") and it works great. We went with this one...

    Underdog Log Vapes

Thanks for the reply, we picked up the dimmer from you guys along with our dog, but you have been so generous I'm not worried about exchanging it. Plus, I'm thinking I'll just snip the ends off and use them with the buck box when it gets here, it seems that should certainly cool things down...

    Underdog Log Vapes

Yeah thanks, I'm using the extension, but it doesn't seem to do too much; voltage also reads the same with and without it... I did take apart the dimmer switch in case I could do anything to remedy it. I couldn't see much to do, blew air into the little holes in the main "dimmer" part, but...

    Underdog Log Vapes

Groovy thanks for chiming in, and yeah I'm all for experimenting... I'm really digging the process of dialling in the dog. Unfortunately we can't get 10v since the dimmer that came with ours jumps from 0v to 11.9v -- we don't get anything in between. It does then gradually go from 11.9 to...

    Underdog Log Vapes

Hey thanks for the info! We are using the thick glass direct draw stems. Should have mentioned that, thx. So do you start at 9v and "step up"? Or, when you're going for low temp, what voltage do you use? Thanks again :)

    Underdog Log Vapes

Hey all--I recently received my first dog and have to say it's a lovely thing to behold. I love it and I’m sure we will dial it in perfectly in due time! It is running on the warm side for our uses. We anticipated that so we picked up a dimmer. With the dimmer the dog seems to either run full...

    Underdog Log Vapes

Awesome info, thanks! Love the thought of a more bendy cord for sure. Seems to me the dimmer would be the way to go unless there's any drawback... any reason not to go with the dimmer?

    Underdog Log Vapes

Howdy dog pack, We recently acquired our first log vape (not an UD, oops), and in true collector fashion, I've come up with a reason to own another one... haha (well actually the 12v input makes it a no-brainer for off-grid use at the cottage!). I'm really liking the vibe of the UD. I've truly...

    E-Nano from Epickai

If you're in the states, it shouldn't be long--only 6 business days to Canada was my experience. After 2 uses we were all tuned in... Guess I'm just hoping the same for you--good luck and enjoy! :)

    E-Nano from Epickai

Thanks for the welcome and the tips! We did bump it back to 5.25, and pushed the screen just a hair, like .5mm really, and all I can say is WOWWWW. We are believers! The nano is king of the micro dose as far as we are concerned. Our go-to before was the solo with a dome screen in. This reduced...

    E-Nano from Epickai

Got our e-nano yesterday! We have used portables up to this point, and mainly keep going back to the trusty solo, but crafty, vapman, and vapcap have also been in the rotation. Wow, the e-nano is a powerhouse. As recommended here, we preheated for a good long time, like over 20 mins--it's so...

    Vapman's FC Appreciation Contest

Fantastic looking Vapman unit up for the prize! That would be lovely on its own... but the Station too?! Wowow Happy Anniversary René! (Will always love the subtle chocolatey flavour notes I get from my walnut basic Vapman... nothing like it!)

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

Goes to show, I think you found--and fixed!--the weak link of the Crafty devices... if I recall correctly it was the leads to the battery? You soldered them on? I hope for their sake S&B has taken notice--nice work!

Here's my .02: "Tung oil" picked up at any old hardware or big-box store typically could contain anything, and it is usually part linseed oil, part varnish, part other, with chemical dryer additives, etc., usually with zero actual tung oil... You can get 100% pure tung oil (as well as...

    Dynavap VapCap

Popping in to say I just got back from a getaway weekend at the lake, brought the vapcap family, woodie and OG. Buddy up there has been trying to fuck combustion but has been having trouble, he is hooked on his one-hitter being just so stealthy and easy, as well as the effects... He has an...

    E-Nano from Epickai

Thanks for the reply, 6 it will be then... very soon now with any luck! I understand they're different but I'm still hoping my solo experience will be of benefit while riding the nano learning curve, at least the part about having a "feel" for the product, like whether it is really dry (or...

    E-Nano from Epickai

Long time solo users... we decided it was time for a plug in that many say compares to it in some ways and improves on it in many... Read over the first and last bunch of pages, thanks again to this fun place for all the info, tips and tricks! Really looking forward to the e-nano adventure to...

    Vapman

Ah yes, "lapping," that's the word my pre-coffee brain was searching for! Thanks :) I've lapped many a plane sole with silica on flat plate, and chisel backs with diamond paste... In reality, the vapman ss washer upgrade is a snap, as it's a mm or two of removal. And yes, the subtleties, the...

You're quite welcome! I also could have added the easiest way to sand by far is with the sandpaper flat on a table or workbench. Work the wood on the paper instead of the usual vice-versa. Stop occasionally, and rotate the wood around in your fingers, to ensure even removal :)
