Welp, I bought an 18mm>18mm adapter, and plugging it into my D020 alone provides a great seal, but plugging the GonG in on top of that creates the exact same problem, so I think it's definitely the GonG. I'll contact EV after I see the MassDrop units have shipped.

I think I may run over to my local headshop and see about that, then, since if that fixed it, it would be easier for everyone. Thanks, friend!

Yeah, I wonder if it's something I could fix that way, but I'm still a little unsure if it's the GonG or not since there isn't a SUPER blatant bump or anything. It does actually stand on its own, but it doesn't seem ultra stable, plus everything the D020 came with all fits in it like a glove...
