The silicone piece it sounds like you're describing is probably the piece that sort of covers where the plug goes in as the metal ring protruding out will get hot to the touch. Not sure about the glass question as I have a steel core and don't want to lead you astray.

Any oils or anything to use on the mouth pieces to moisten them from being so dry? They don't get warm enough to treat with normal beeswax.

Does changing your water daily not take care of this? I shake mine with hot water first thing after work every day before running my first session through it, I always assumed that was enough to keep things clean and safe.

Couldn't agree more. I contacted Nadia about a adjust-a-bowl GonG I'm having issues with this morning. She emailed me this afternoon to let me know a replacement GonG was going to be sent out to me, even though I'm well past the 30 days warranty of the glass pieces.

What types of oils have you enjoyed in the aromacups? I plan to toss an aromacup on the UD when I'm not using it and would love some good oil ideas. I've picked up some extra beeswax already because I was told that will help the contents solidify and not spill when they are not being heated.
