Hey all, thank you for your input from earlier this week (finally getting a chance to get on here with the little-to-no signal I'm getting at the job site).
Wifey ended up taking the FF. I was still unsure about traveling with it until I really got a feel for it. Plus she might have to deal...
After deliberation with the wife we decided to get the Firefly 2. We have a Pax 2 which is nice but A) we needed another portable vape since I work out of town a lot which just leaves her with combustion at home, and B) Our P2 is about to get send in to the factory for the second time in a year...
I hadn't heard a single thing about this until Sneaky Pete did a review (I'm a subscriber.) I was eyeing the FF before but the FF2 has me very intrigued.
I have a Pax 2 and while it's been great for two people (and is beyond stellar for being out-and-about) I really want a portable convection...
Wow, the fine folks at Pax Labs are freaking amazing! My unit had a sticky and unresponsive button that made it difficult to use, which is especially frustrating when trying to be slick and discrete.
I finally got around to putting in a service ticket and getting in touch with customer service...
Awesome possum! But I think I'll wait until after the holiday weekend to do as such. Going to visit the in-laws and the unit will be quite handy; even in the state it's in, better than not having it!
Nice, that was going to be my follow-up question.
That must be quite the surprise.... followed...
@Ojan_at_PAX
So we've been dealing with a button issue on our P2 for a while now. At the moment we're having to take the mp off and press many many times before it turns on and then it's hard to change to temperature control. However after warming up for a while the button is far more...
Hey all, I posted a couple weeks ago about putting my Pax 2 in a checked bag on a flight. Thank you for the advice and the reassurance.
We drove to our vacation so we could bring lots of goodies and flew back so I had to clean the Pax in the hotel. That is really what had me the most concerned...
With the popularity of ecigs, airlines are changing things up. If an airline recommends not having a battery powered liquid vaporizer in your checked baggage would a Pax 2 be okay?
Would it be fine just cleaning the hell out of it with iso before hand, including scraping everything off the...
I've traveled with the P2 in a work truck and vaped in a hotel room (in a non-decriminalized state even.)
This week I've been hosting family.
The stealth factor has been thoroughly put to the test and it passed with flying colors. The cost of advanced technology has paid for itself with how...
I use a screen as well and have noticed that. With a screen, stirring gets very little extra vapor. I'm hoping the more solid design of the pusher results in no stirring needed.
So I just ordered the Pusher and the caps (thanks @Ratchett these will come in very handy) and figured it was time to do a review. I have the "black" (I actually like that it isn't jet black) Simon edition... yes I beat it (FIRST TRY) and I am indeed in Funky Town. I've seen some people online...
My first ISO tincture from pipe cleaners, q-tips, and such just finished evaporating so I'll likely scrape it today. I'm hoping it's worth at least a few dabs. Being able to have usable reclaim would be awesome.
Also, I'm finding that I might need to clean this thing more often! Used hard by...
It has been thusly purchased! This thing is even smaller than I ever imagined! With my big hands I can actually cover the device while sipping. It's perfect!
Now the agonizing wait until SO is off work so we can break it in!
Where can I find an extensive list of easter eggs? Dude at LHS said...
IT'S HAPPENING!
I'm finally upgrading from my GPro (misguided purchase but it has actually done me well) to a Pax 2! Thankfully there is a well-known and much-respected LHS in town that is an official Pax retailer. It'll be nice to not have to be concerned about counterfeits and at the same...
I know it's been mentioned in here but what is Trevor's email address? I'm at work and can't spend too much time searching.
I was going to do a pre order but I can't load the site.
Using the mod I posted (link at the bottom of this post) I am able to use it with my very simple, decently small $25 bong that somehow hasn't broken after 7 years. Also, I could very easily attach hose from the glass mod to basically any bong/bubbler/etc. if I had the right attachments.
